What a day…" Rima sighed.
"Yeah," Shiki agreed.
"Here," Rima pulled a box of Pocky out of her pocket.
She held out a piece and Shiki took the end of it in his mouth and began sucking on it. Rima took a piece too and they walked down the hall.
"You know, Senri… I haven't seen Aido or Akatsuki today… I wonder where they are," Rima said.
Shiki yawned, "Don't know… I heard Aido had a little taste of Ms. disciplinary committee's blood last night and they both got in trouble… I guess Aido's being punished and Kain's probably in his room."
"I wonder what new punishment Lord Kaname thought up this time," Rima mused with a bored voice.
"I think I just found out," Shiki said as they turned a corner.
Aido was standing outside of the room he and Akatsuki shared with a bucket in each hand and a bucket on his head.
"Let me in!" Aido yelled.
"Get in yourself," Akatsuki's droning voice could be heard through the door.
"Hey! This isn't fair! You get off with just ten days suspension, but I get ten days suspension and I have to hold these stupid buckets on my head all day! And don't be complaining that I got you into trouble because you could've stopped me!" Aido ranted.
Akatsuki didn't reply.
"Having fun?" Rima asked.
Aido carefully turned his head so that he wouldn't spill the buckets, "Would you open the door for me?"
"No," Rima said bluntly.
"Don't lose your balance," Shiki poked Aido in the forehead and he struggled to keep the bucket from toppling off of his head.
"Careful," Rima said as they walked away.
"I'll get you all back for this!" Aido shouted at them as they rounded another corner.
As soon as they were out of earshot they both fell against the wall cracking up.
Shiki breathed deeply, "That was too good."
Rima sighed, "I think this might be my favorite punishment so far."
They began laughing again, replaying the scene in their minds.
Rima got her laughter under control first.
"We try so hard…" she handed Shiki another Pocky stick.
"…But apathy isn't easy," Shiki finished.
