My first Junjo Romantica oneshot! It's short and fluffy, but I hope I don't mess anything up.

By the way, we need more Misaki-Takahiro brotherly love :3

Juggling three jobs was difficult. Takahiro knew that, but it was all for Misaki's sake. Having their parents die while being only 8 years old, he must be traumatized. He knew the boy was still blaming himself for it.

"Thanks for the lift, Usagi," He said getting off the red sports car.

Akihiko smiled at his friend. "Don't overwork yourself, Takahiro."

"I have to get used to it," He paused before continuing his sentence. "For Misaki's sake."

The ashen haired man knew that he would never win when it came to the little brother. "I'll see you tomorrow then."

"It's alright, you don't have to do this every day."

"No, I want to. Don't worry about it."

"I... okay."

Takahiro closed the door and watch his friend drive away. He then checked his watch for the time. 11:46 PM. Misaki should be asleep by now. He then went over to their apartment and entered their unit, closing the door gently behind him. Before going to his room, he went by Misaki's and opened the door as quiet as he could see how he was. The little boy was in his bed, under the sheets. The dark haired man thought he saw him tremble, but he left without a second thought.

As soon as he reached his room, he threw himself on the bed, not caring about ruining his suit nor taking his glasses off. He'd need to wake up early again tomorrow for one of his jobs. For now, he just wanted to lounge around and get some sleep.

A knock interrupted his brooding. "Nii-chan?" came a small voice from the other side of the door.

Takahiro's first thought was to open the door and hug Misaki tightly, but a part of him wanted to feign sleep and see what he does. So, he did just that. He positioned himself on the bed facing away from the door with his arms resting in front of his chest. He then heard the door click open.

"Nii-chan, are you awake?" Misaki closed the door behind him gently and held on to a small blanket. He saw Takahiro lying on the bed so he assumed he was asleep, but he went over to him anyway and tried shaking his shoulder gently.

"Nii-chan?" He called out once more. The brown haired boy frowned. It was no use. He knew his older brother was tired, but he couldn't sleep. He then went over to the other side of the bed and looked at him for a moment. "Nii-chan..." Misaki blamed himself for making Takahiro work so hard. If only he didn't ask his parents to come home quickly on that rainy day...

He shook his head to rid of the memory. Misaki took the man's glasses as gently as he could and placed them over at the end table next to the bed. He climbed on the bed and wedged himself in Takahiro's arms. Contented with himself, Misaki reached up and kissed his brother on the cheek. "Oyasumi, nii-chan."

Takahiro felt himself freeze as the little boy squeezed himself in his embrace. Making sure Misaki was asleep, he opened his eyes and smiled, watching him drift off. He then pulled the blanket up to his shoulder and moved his head lower to plant a kiss on his brother's head. "Oyasumi, Misaki."
