Stolen
The office room was silent.
Roy held his cheek, staring dumbfoundedly at where Fullmetal had stood before the boy had ran out of the room loudly.
Somebody cleared their throat. Roy blinked and turned around. It was as if everyone else in the room had snapped out of their stupor and suddenly started to look busy. Nobody met his eyes.
"Your pen, Sir."
Roy turned to his lieutenant who was holding out the pen he had been dropped. He had been playing with the pen, lounging carelessly on his desk while talking with Fullmetal.
"Lieutenant?"
"Yes, Sir?"
"Did Fullmetal just kiss me on the cheek?"
"I believe so, Sir."
Well, that was... interesting...
Everything had happened so fast that Roy hadn't even had the time to react. One moment the boy had been standing a few meters away from him, seething from the verbal blows that Roy had been giving him, and suddenly Roy had found himself yanked down to the boy's level.
The boy sure had the guts.
"Lieutenant?"
"Yes, Sir?"
"Did Fullmetal just kiss me on the cheek and run away?"
"I believe so, Sir."
Well, that was interesting. Roy never thought of Edward Elric as the one to be shy.
"Lieutenant?"
"Yes, Sir?"
"Did Fullmetal just kiss me--"
"With all due respect, Sir, Fullmetal Alchemist did just kiss you on the cheek, in front of all of us, nevertheless, and retreat, and if you appreciate your health, I would suggest you never mention this in front of him ever again unless he mentions it himself, Sir."
"...Oh... Alright. Thank you, Lieutenant."
"You're welcome, Sir. Now go back to your work."
