Glynda moves her white queen piece ahead two squares. Ozpin takes a sip of his coffee before he moves his black rook back a square. The two are sitting in an office, playing a game of chess; a favorite past time of the two. There are no classes today, so the school is almost devoid of students walking about in the halls. Glynda and Ozpin take the free time to go about their never ending battle of chess.
Glynda moves one of her white knights, and takes one of Ozpin's black pawns. Ozpin grins.
"Looks like you are backing me into a corner." He tells Glynda.
"Looks like you are not going to be breaking my winning streak any time soon." Glynda says back.
"Never count your chickens before they hatch." Ozpin tells her and moves a black knight up.
"The students should learn that."
"Speaking of which, how did the field trip go?"
"Let's just say, the students are banned from collecting anything that is sticky for a while." Glynda sighs and moves her pawn up.
The two sit in silence for a while, each taking turns moving a chess piece. Glynda is able to get two more of Ozpin's pieces, while Ozpin is only able to get one of hers. He takes another sip of his coffee, and sets it down on the table. He moves up his bishop.
"So, any of the students giving you trouble? How is Jaune? Has he made any improvements?" Ozpin asks
"He has made some, but he still has A LOT to learn. Why you ever made him the leader, I still don't know." Glynda answers.
"I have my reasons."
"Some days I wonder what goes through your mind."
Glynda moves up her queen.
"Check."
"The mind is a wondrous thing, is it not? How are the rest of team JNPR and their friends, the members of RWBY?" Ozpin asks and moves his king away.
"Let's see. Nora is still dragging around that poor boy Ren around. I'm surprise that she has not worn him out yet. As for Pyrrha, I can tell that she has been helping Jaune out." She moves her rook "As for the members of RWBY, the two sisters sometimes get into a bit of trouble, while their partners have to drag them back to the dorms. Honestly, these kids get crazier and crazier every year."
"They are a good bunch of kids. I am sure that they will exceed our expectations."
Ozpin moves his knight backwards. Glynda purses her lips in thought. She looks over the chessboard before moving a pawn up. Ozpin moves his queen up to take the pawn.
"Got anything planned for those kids for the next field trip?" Ozpin asks.
"There is that trip back to the emerald forest. All they have to do there is survive the night."She answers.
"That seems a little harsh."
"Aren't you the one that sent the students head first into the forest on pretty much their first day of school?"
"That is true."
Glynda moves her queen once again. She smiles, and leans back in her chair.
"Looks like I win again Ozpin. Have you gone soft on me with chess?" She asks him.
"No, you just are getting really lucky lately."He answers and stands up."So how many times is that now?"
"Six in a row, who knows, maybe I will be able to make it to ten at this rate."
"We will see about that. Now, let's go take a look around the school to make sure that there is nothing that we should worry about."
This one sucks! I know, i had a lot of issues with it...
