Summary: Lucy wonders about Aslan and where he goes when he's not in Narnia.

Queen Lucy the Valiant sighed as she watched Aslan leave her and her siblings alone shortly after he had crowned them the rulers of Narnia. Clutching her handkerchief in her hands she smiled. He would be back. She had the faith to know that much. Mr. Tumnus knew just about everything about Narnia and if He said that Aslan wasn't a tame lion than that had to be case.

Of course Lucy was a child and an extremely curious one at that. She knew he'd be back but where was he going? The young queen needed some answers but no one had any for her. Mr. Beaver had told her it was Aslan's business. Orieus told her defeating Jadis' army was more important than her silly questions and Peter agreed with him! Susan laughed and shook her head at her sister's curious nature. Edmund told her they would find out when Aslan wanted them to. Mr. Tumnus didn't know. She was sure if he did know he would have told her but she still asked him. This seemed to be the one thing all of Narnia did not know about their Great Lion. Lucy dropped the subject and just helped her siblings rule Narnia in Aslan's place because that would have been what he wanted,

When she was back in Narnia for the second time Lucy thought that since she was the one who could seem him when no one else could, now might be a good time to ask. She started to learn that for once Ed was right. Every time she decided to ask Aslan where he went when he was away from Narnia something in Lucy's heart made her not ask the question. It was a queer thing. Lucy accepted that Ed was right. Later when she was told that she could never return she decided that Aslan must go be who she needed to find in England or something.

Lucy got her answer the day she died. Once she was in the new Narnia and saw how many people and place Aslan took care of it was obvious that he had to go help them. As she passed him on her way to go to tea with Mr. Tumnus Aslan confirmed that.

"My Dear One, do you see now? This is where I go when I'm gone."
