Author's Note: Okay so I have been delayed longer than I would have liked, and don't worry, I will get back to work on my other story as soon as possible. However, when I look at how the Alien franchise is treated, all of the Xenos are treated as evil, while most of the Predators are depicted as having very strong lines of right and wrong. So I will be creating a friendly Xeno in this AVP fanfic. Please leave nice comments.
Content Warning: Given this involves Aliens and Predators, expect some fairly bloody violence.
Diisclaimer: I do not own Aliens V Predator(2010) or any of its characters.
Six was livid that Groves had escaped. She had been stunned that when she tried to impregnate him with a Facehugger, he pulled out a syringe and injected her with a chemical that turned her back into a Praetorian. She soon had other problems to deal with.
"Where is the escapee?" came a reply from security.
"In the hold" came Groves's reply, as she heard everything from the air vent.
Six quickly followed them. Yet she could not escape the memories, of his training, and of the innocent civilians the Matriarch had ordered her to execute.
"Kill everything in that garage" came the message from the Matriarch, telepathically as a result of the hive mind that connected them. She had, and she recalled seeing a human cower and scream before she summoned a facehugger to give the human a fate worse than death. Six had recalled seeing aliens slaughtering innocent children screaming in fear, and while she never killed any of them, felt sickened to see them used as mere population breeders.
"You doubt me?" came the Matriarch's firm question since it had sensed the doubt in her mind. When she replied that the use of children was wrong, the Matriarch lashed out " THEY ARE NOTHING MORE THAN HUMANS TO BE EXECUTED OR BRED AS US!" and left her clutching her head in pain.
But she recalled something more difficult, when the EMP went off and knocked out her restraints, Groves realizing she would get out, ran and then locked his co-worker in the room with her. She then killed a man, who had been left for dead by his boss, and had been merely shielding himself from a monster, and how she had cruelly taken her time and intimidated a man until he screamed before she killed him, first with a headbite that missed and didn't kill him directly, and then impaled him with her hand. While the co-worker would have likely been killed by her own kin when she freed them, she had simply taken a life of a being who did not pose a threat, she was under no orders, she just did it. Sure he had been part of Groves's experiment that was perfectly willing to sacrifice other humans to create and test her own kind, but being left for dead by his boss, killing him was just unnecessary. It may have felt like karma to kill a person who used his own kind as mere tools and treated her as a toy to be used, and then cast aside, but it didn't now. It felt more like a cold blooded murder.
Six was now returning to the cargo hold, with the hope of finding a way out. First, she would have to deal with the marine team. She noticed the presence of technicians in the area trying to fix the damage. Six proceeded to knock out the lights.
"What the hell?" came a panicked response from one Marine.
"They said this one was smart. I guess we know how smart. Switching to thermal imagery." came the reply of another Marine, before putting on thermal imagery headsets, along with another Marine. Six was surprised, that the humans for once would not just rely on their very inaccurate beeping machines.
"These humans are finally starting to adapt. Any human wearing those headsets will be able to see me in the darkness" Six thought to herself. She proceeded to use her senses, and realized there were five Marines, each one armed and dangerous. With a technician staying, Six knew she had to take out all the Marines, without them or the technician triggering the alarm. She went for one of the thermal goggled men first. She dropped down from the ceiling and grabbed him, before snapping his neck to prevent him from alerting the other Marines.
"One down" she thought to herself. "Not being a Queen does have advantages"
She quickly grabbed another Marine, and considered impaling the female, before she felt her stomach. Her senses showed her the human was pregnant.
"AHH!" came a panicked thought as the memories of the butchered and implanted children came racing back. As she got over the memory, the Marine let out a scream.
" AHHHHHHH!" and it quickly triggered a response "TARGET SIGHTED!" came one of the Marines wearing a thermal headset. Knowing the humans would not dare risk shooting her with a companion. Six quickly jumped up to the ceiling and moved fast enough to lose the thermal imagery man. Once there, knowing humans could not walk upside down, she simply held the pregnant Marine upside down until she lost consciousness due to blood rush before safely dropping her on the ground. Six then proceeded to grab the other thermal Marine and used her tail to slash his throat, before grabbing the other Marine and fatally slashing him with her claws. She looked for the other Marine and saw him hiding under a table.
"What the hell are you?" came the Marine's panicked response while carrying a sawed off shotgun.
No sooner that he asked the question that Six's hand crashed through the table and pulled him by his neck. Since he had dropped his weapon, Six didn't think he needed to die, so she simply looked like she would headbite him, then gave him a head-butt that broke his nose, knocked out four teeth and fractured his skull.
It was at this point the blinds above opened.
"Specimen Six, it has truly been a while. I can see your skills have not decreased. The fact you chose to spare the civillan not to mention two of the marines stuns me. Your species does not have the mercy of the Predators. Could it be you have developed a conscience, are you recalling all the blood on your ledger and are you haunted by the screaming of so many innocents that your kind slaughtered in that colony?" came the rhetorical question from Doctor Groves.
"HESSH" came a vicous snarl from Six. She was in no mood for his twisted games. At this point the mechanic made a run for the door.
"Ah. We cannot allow a potential Xeno to rampage through the ship." came a reply from Groves as he locked the mechanic in.
"Groves, you evil coward! Let me out!" came the mechanic's panicked screams as Six looked on, clearly flashbacking.
"You remember what happened? Let me give you more clarity." Groves stated sadistically as he showed security camera footage.
"AHHH!" came the screaming scientist as Six grabbed, missing with the first headbite, before killing him. Six clearly realized she wouldn't get out through the main hallway, and simply knocked the mechanic out to avoid a witness. However, Groves had forgotten to turn the intercom off, and ordered a squad to take a shuttle to the dreadnought Grassley. A shuttle was then highlighted, and Six quickly jumped in and hid herself on the pipes. As the crew boarded and flew toward Grassley, only a few hundred miles, Six thought what would happen next.
What awaits, she could not think, and what fate had in store for her, she could not know.
Author's Note: Okay so that was the first chapter of this fanfic. I really felt that Groves was horribly underused in that even appear after the tutorial and he really should have been the main antagonist for the Alien campaign. The fact he did not appear once was a real annoyance. So anyhow please give this fanfic a nice review. Be sure to point out errors or suggestions. And stand by for the next chapter.
