I MISS YOU, MY LOVE

Summary: Did you ever wonder what Rudolph thought right after he said "I haven't had so much fun with a kid my own age since I really was nine."? One-shot Rudy/OC

A/N: I'm sorry if this isn't very good. I havent been getting a lot of sleep over the past couple of weeks, and currently its 11:18 p.m. where I am so, yea, it won't be that great. Excuse any mistakes I may have made but never fixed. ): I'm tired but I just had to write this. The OC is Rudolph's best friend and lover from back in the 1600's.

Rudolph's POV

"That was fun. I havent had so much fun with a kid my own age since I really was nine." I remember those times. Back when my love was still alive. I may be only nine, but I fell in love with my best friend, Serenity Lewis.

She was beautiful. She had long brown hair and the most amazing hazel eyes I have ever seen.

I remember we used to run down the pond when Anna continued to bother us.

"But brother, why can I not come with you and Serenity?"

"You cannot come with us because you are not yet of age to go anywhere without mother and father." she whined a little, stomped her foot, and turned dramatically, flipping her long blonde hair in our faces as she walked away.

I looked over at Serenity and saw that she was pouting. She was always sad when someone was upset. She always blamed herself for other's pain even if it wasn't her fault.

"Anna!" she called and my sister turned around with sad eyes. "I make a promise to you, when we come back, I will play with you, any game you want." Anna smiled with glee and came running back towards us.

"Even princess'?" she asked hopeful.

"Yes," she nodded "even princess'." Anna hugged her tightly around her waist, since she was not yet tall enough to give her a proper hug. After all, she was only 6.

"Oh, Serenity! I thank you a thousand and one times!" she let go and ran off to find mother and father.

"Are you ready to leave, Serenity? If we do not leave soon, the sun will set and we will get lost on our way back." She nodded and smiled at me. I held out my hand and she took it and laughed as we ran.

I always loved her laugh. Her laugh always made me smile. She was the only one who could make me laugh when I was sad.

That was a year before we were turned into vampires. I never saw her again after that. I tried to find her, but I couldn't. She wasn't in England anymore. I don't know where she went, or how she got there, or even if she lived, but I do know she wasn't there when I went back.

I shook my head to stop my sad thoughts.

"I should go." I said and walked to the window.

"You can stay if you want." I opened the curtains just in time to see Rookery drive by with his lights flashing. I ducked behind the curtains to shield myself from the light.

I looked back at Tony as I closed the curtains. "Maybe I should."
