'Twas the night before Christmas, and Gregory House
Had a holiday visitor, dressed in tight skirt and blouse.
She'd arrived on his door step, an unexpected sight,
To interrupt his brooding on this loneliest of nights.
At his piano he sat, glass of scotch in his hand,
While Cameron placed her coat on the black baby grand.
"Don't stop playing," she said. "Just a carol or two.
I won't stay here long… unless you want me to."
He nodded his head, so she grinned and took a seat
On the bench next to him, while he played carols sweet.
Cameron hummed along and sang with such joy
That House felt as carefree as an 8-year-old boy.
As the music filled the room, a smile spread across his face;
The loneliness left him and love took its place.
He played slow songs and fast songs, his foot started to tap.
Then suddenly she placed her hand on his lap.
They looked at each other, green eyes met sky blue,
His fingers stopped moving, and suddenly he knew.
He'd been foolish all these years, to push her away.
He realized it now, he could see that they
Were meant for each other, 'twas destined from Day One.
And he knew this was final, no more would he run.
Though he wondered why she loved him, a grumpy old relic,
He couldn't resist kissing her face, so angelic.
His lips brushed her cheeks, her eyes closed and she sighed,
And when their lips finally met, his heart swelled with pride.
This woman was his now, she loved him despite
His many imperfections; she loved him outright.
And he loved her too, of this he was sure.
So he reached for her hand, grabbed his cane off the floor,
And led her to his bedroom with an uneven gait.
This had been years in the making, they could no longer wait.
She stood there before him, her arms 'round his waist,
Then they began to undress, removing clothing with haste.
Off blouse and off skirt, off stockings and heels!
Off t-shirt, jeans, and boxers as before him she kneeled.
Off panties and bra, striped with red and with green,
As they moved to the bed, careful not to trip on his jeans.
House sat at the headboard, Cameron straddled him quickly;
She lowered herself down while stroking his beard prickly.
They rocked into each other, eliciting moans,
Cameron's hands on his arms, his fingers pressing into her hip bones.
He'd leave a mark there for certain, but neither of them cared,
As their bodies were joined and their pleasure they shared.
Cameron reached climax first, she cried out House's name,
Which sent him over the edge; he grunted and came
Inside her with force, then they collapsed on the bed.
He drew her into his arms, kissed her sweetly and said,
"Merry Christmas, Cameron. All I wanted was you.
You're the best Christmas present ever. Now, you ready for Round Two?"
