Well, this is my first Lucy/Lorcan, so I hope you like it! Here goes!
Lorcan Scamander was ice. She didn't know why he was so cold, but he was. People described him as the only Scamander that was remotely normal, and not living in a fantasy. His brother, Lysander, was out chasing dragons, much like her Uncle Charlie. Luna Lovegood Scamander had taken over her father's work for the Quibbler, and Rolf Scamander was a fanatic about nature. He would Apparate off without a second thought once he got word of some new natural wonder, Muggle and magical alike. Everyone thought it must be hard for him to be the only normal one in a family of crazies.
Lucy Weasley was light. Not fire, like Lily Luna Potter, who wasn't as innocent as she seemed, or Victoire Weasley, who dated a new boy every couple weeks. She wasn't Roxanne Weasley, a prankster like her father and late uncle, and she wasn't Dominique Weasley, whose devilish smirks and dangerously short skirts attracted any boy within a five mile radius. And she wasn't like her sister, Molly Weasley II, who fussed over anyone just like her namesake.
The first time the light shone on the ice was a couple years ago, when she had tried being friends with him. He told her that he wasn't interested in a cool, semi-civilized way, and she felt like she had gotten something like a burn from ice. Which was impossible. He only froze people.
And ever since then, she knew she wanted to know him better. To break the ice, and see if there was anything inside but an ice-cold heart. It was her own personal mission to get inside of Lorcan Scamander's head, and eventually, win his heart. If she got there first.
The ice started melting when he dated Lily, and then Roxanne and Dominique. Lucy thought that it was amazing how he could manage to stay so cold even when dating the two most fiery Weasleys and the naughtiest Potter. But even when he stopped dating them, the ice hadn't even melted halfway.
But that was when Lucy realized that he couldn't melt from just a hot but quick fire. He needed someone to melt him slowly. Like light and ice. Lucy and Lorcan. Because even though fire melted ice quicker, light did melt ice, slowly but surely, and without as much of a mess.
So, what did you think? Please review!
