Is Loki Dead or Alive?

Hi everyone! I know that I haven't been updating in a while. School has been busy but I now it's summer vacation so I have more time to write. Then, I saw Infinity War and it broke me to the point where I didn't want to write anymore. So, in light of the death of our king (Loki), I made this list. I can't decide whether I want to believe that he's alive or accept that he's gone for good. I want to hear your thoughts and suggestions. Criticism is also welcome.

Reasons why Loki is alive:
Loki is the God of Mischief
Loki is incredibly smart
Loki is a sorcerer with powerful magic
He knows Thanos and his power
Would Loki actually be stupid enough to
try and kill Thanos with a tiny dagger?
He didn't turn back into his jotun form
(it was hard to see though)
He said to Thor, "the sun will shine on us again" and that
he's the "rightful king of Jotunheim" (foreshadowing?!)
Loki has faked death before
Loki is Bruce Banner Theory
Time Travel could change the timeline to one where
he lives
Tom said in an interview that "everything's fine"
(he could be talking about Loki's survival in Avengers 4
Marvel loves messing with people
There is no Thor without Loki
Loki is key to Thanos' defeat (at least that's what I heard)
He disappeared for a while when Hulk fought Thanos
Valkyrie is alive, so where was she? Did she escape and take Loki with her?
(works only if a. Loki is posing as Bruce Banner or b. If there is a past Loki)
Loki from the past could've traveled and met present Loki and swapped places
(when Loki disappeared for a while)
Why Loki should be alive:
Thor
Chris Hemsworth might not be done playing Thor
Loki has a lot of potential (as a jotun)
Loki could have a chance to fight with the heroes instead of against them
He should become king of Jotunheim
Fix my broken heart
Fix Thor's broken heart
Fix all the fangirls' broken heart
Save Marvel from inevitable fangirl riot
He knows Thanos and can help
Can develop his character a bit farther
(especially if he embraces his jotun self plus what Tom said about what he wants to do with
Loki in the future)
Fulfill Tom's wish to have Loki conquer his mind
Thor's last words to Loki were, "you really are the worst brother." (Really marvel? That's how you want to end Thor and Loki's relationship?!)
Why would Marvel throw away all of Loki's charcter development with Thor, especially if their big plan was to get rid of him in the first five minutes of their 'epic movie'
Thor and Loki need a moment/hug each other
Reasons why Loki is dead:
Loki went from villain to hero
Marvel directors and the 'difficult' conversations
with cast members leaving the franchise
Marvel thinks that Tom is too old to play Loki
(seriously!? The guy's only 37. Look at RDJ! He's in his fifties!)
Loki did run his course as a character
Tom had an emotional experience filming
(is it because Loki's not coming back!?)
Thor might die
(there is no Thor without Loki and vice versa)
Marvel needs to kill some characters right?!
(otherwise we wouldn't take Thanos seriously
Speaking of Thanos…
Thanos said, "no resurrections this time"
Loki wasn't killed by the snap
He already faked death
He died for Thor
Why Loki should be dead:
Gives death meaning
He wasn't killed by the snap
He went from villain to hero
Gives Thor motivation to kill Thanos
Completed his character arc (or did he?)
He faked death before
Make his sacrifice for Thor meaningful
