Tell The Truth And Shame The Devil
Immediately after Jackson's confession:
April turns away from Jackson and looks at Matthew, finally realizing how wrong she has been for stringing him along. " Matthew you are a good man, maybe too good, and I- I never wanted to hurt you. I love you, and I am so, so sorry, but I can't do this anymore." April looks at Jackson, and back at Matthew. Matthew walks past April, then stops and says " Can I have my ring back?" April smiles sadly and takes it off. As she hands it to him she says, " The girl who will wear this someday will deserve it, and she will love you so much better than I ever could. I am so sorry." Matthew looks at the ring , sadly he says, " The thing is, I knew you never loved me that way, but I didn't care, for that April I'm sorry. Goodbye." He kissed her on the cheek and walked past Jackson, out of the church and April's life forever.
Meredith looked at Christina and said " Seriously? Did you see that coming because I didn't." Christina, still shocked said nothing. " CHRISTINA! What is going on with you?" Christina finally snaps out of her reverie and says " I knew there wasn't going to be any nuptials today, at least not Matthew and Kempner, You guys are oblivious, I totally saw this coming, with Avery and his googly eyes every time Kempner is around. How did you guys miss it?" In true Christina fashion- she walks away from the altar and says ' Does this mean no alcohol? If anyone needs a drink, it's definitely me." When everyone looks at her she says ," I mean Kempner. "
Stephanie stands up, looks around at everyone, and storms out. April looks at Jackson and says " You have to try and make it right. If we're gonna start over, Jackson and really try, you have to fix it with her, or at least try." She turns around and looks at the minister. ' I bet you didn't think it would turn out like this did you?" she chuckled sadly and closed her eyes. Just then she felt someone touch her arm. She looked to her right and there stood Jackson.
" I remember you telling me about the butterflies, and the mints April. This is our wedding, I was supposed to be standing here beside you, and I ruined it. But it's not too late. Standing here I know this right, this is where we are supposed to be." He got down on his knee and took her hand, " April I want to marry you right here, right now. We can figure out the rest later, but I can't live another day without you. Saying all this and being here in this moment, I realize I was holding my breath the whole time, seeing you and the possibility of what we can be , I can finally breathe now." He stood up and wiped the tears off her cheeks, he took her hand and they both faced the minister.
"Well everyone, we certainly didn't expect this change in events, but the Lord has a way of unraveling plans, and putting us exactly where we need to be, when we need to be there."
The minister continued on with the ceremony, and they were married.
