Chapter 1:
I was flying, flying with Steve, the purple unicorn who didn't have a cone thingy on his head. Suddenly, giant pancakes started falling from the sky and syrup was raining down, its thick gooeyness covering all the land. Luckily, I was still on Steve, so I didn't get sticky; I have an OCD with stickiness, sue me! But then, everything turned into a nightmare as pancakes rival, frenchtoast started falling. Steve didn't see it comming, the giant rip-off toast came falling, cruching Steve and me.
"Die frenchtoast," I yelled, shooting up into a sitting position in my bed. I looked around my room, and then at my clock, only to see it was 7:05. After a few seconds, I jumped out of bed, successfully falling to the ground with my sheets wrapped around me.
"Stupid sheets! Let go, I will cut you," I yelled at the sheets.
The reason for me needing to be up so freaking early in the morning was that me, my brother, and my dad just moved to Forks, Washington. Apparently, my dad got a job offer 'he just couldn't refuse.' So here we are, in a rainy, little town. We used to live in Jacksonville, North Carolina, so I guess this wasn't so bad. My dad said that me and my brother would be going to Forks Highschool. I would be a junior while my brother, Alex, would be a senior. My mom died a while back in a car accident so it was just dad, Alex, and me.
"Danni, come on, you're gonna be late," my dad shouted from downstairs. Shouldn't he be at work since we did move here for that, lazyass.
My name would be Danni as you tell, well actually it's Daniela but you know nicknames are cooler. So anyway, I rushed into the bathroom across the hall from my bedroom. I quickly stripped off my sweatpants and tanktop and turned the nob of the shower. As soon as I stepped in, I got some of my orangey smelling shampoo and racked my fingers through my hair. Mmm... don't you just love the smell of oranges, so orangey. Anyway, five minutes later, I was out of the shower and wrapping a towel around my body. I quickly ninja streaked across the hall to my room and started grabbing underwear and a bra. Then I grabbed a pair of dark skinny jeans and a red shirt that said 'I am NINJA' with a small, cute picture of a ninja.
As soon as I was dressed I went to the bathroom and started blow-drying my dark red and black hair. It reached kinda below my shoulders and was styled in a certain emo-ish way. It was parted to my left and my bangs kinda covered my left eye. As soon as I was done, I brushed my teeth and looked into the mirror to see my bright green eyes.
"Danni, if you make us late, you're walking home," Alex called.
"Is that supposed to be a threat," I called back. Honestly, he just wasn't good at the whole threatening thing.
"Yes, now come on, you're so flippin slow!"
"Bite me, bitch," I replied before looking in the mirror one last time, then heading downstairs.
