Chapter 1
"What time is it? We've been waiting here for ages!" Toby wondered. "I don't know we're near the front of the line..." I trailed off. Toby and I have been friends since we were kids and do almost anything and everything together. He has black shaggy hair that hides his crystal blue eyes. "C'mon Pheebs, let's just go." Toby mumbled as he turned around. "No, wait!" I called "There's only two people ahead of us!" "Really?" he asked. I have blonde hair and deep green eyes.
The two people moved in and we shuffled in behind them. "Oh my GOSH! I'm so excited to see this movie!" I said looking around the theatre. "Pheobe, Look!" Toby pointed across the room to the star of the movie! "OMG!" I shrieked and hopped up and down. We squeezed through the crowds of people until we were in front of the one and only Tom Carter.
"Hi! You're Tom Carter! OMIGAWD!" I was so excited and happy and about to throw up rainbows when the doors to the theatre opened and we could find our seats. Toby and I hurried in and took our seats and were silent for the whole movie. On the drive home we blabbed on and on about the movie and autographs from Tom that we gave each other headaches. "Thanks for driving me home." I said to Toby as he opened the car door for me. Such a gentleman...
The next day I was walking to school when the 'Tough Guys' came along. The Tough Guys are a group of numb skulls that always get detention at my high school. Their leader Brandon was the stupidest of them all, he plans the pranks and tricks. "Hey therrrrrr gorgeous!" Brandon shrieked in his hyena voice. His group held something above their heads, i thought it was a hand ball but it wasn't. They were water balloon filled with mud. With all their might the Tough Guys threw the balloons at me.
