Loki smirked at the man before him. His blond hair was disheveled, there was sweat above his brow, and his blue t-shirt was stained with blood.

"Well, you've finally kneeled," he taunted, bending over slightly to look Steve right in the eyes, "Captain," he added.

The man snarled, attempted to lurch forward, but his chains kept him in his position.

"This is as good as having Thor in front of me," Loki said to him.

"Go to Hell," Steve told him.

He chuckled. "Oh, dear Captain, I've already been there."

The two of them stared at each other after Loki had spoken. There was next to nothing else to say, besides talking about Steve's current position, and neither actually wanted to do that.

He was chained at the wrists, and cuffed at the ankles. He could hardly move and he was conveniently in a kneeling position, Loki's favorite to see anyone in. He was stripped from the waist down and his shirt was in tatters; he found himself in a spot of helplessness that didn't appeal to him at all.

He looked back at Loki, staring into the bright green eyes. "What is the point of tormenting me?"

The frost giant laughed. "Why, you're the closest I could get to my brother. Don't take this too personally."

Steve rolled his eyes. It should figure that this was all because of Thor.

Loki lifted the American's chin. "Do you hate me as much, or more, than everyone else?" the black haired man asked softly.

They stared at each other again, and the Captain found himself unable to answer right away. His mind was caught between what he knew personally and what Thor had told him.

After a moment, Steve looked away, closing his eyes. "No. No, I don't hate you, Loki."

His chin was lifted up again and he felt cold lips press against his. Instinctively, he kissed back, his mind not even considering how wrong it had been to even consider a relationship with another man. For just a few minutes, all that he thought about was Loki.

When Steve opened his eyes, he was in his bed again, only in boxers, and he wondered if everything that had just happened had been a dream.

He almost wished it wasn't.

Almost.

Author's Note: I was watching Avengers since I won't be able to see Thor: The Dark World, until Thanksgiving, and maybe not even then! So, here's me, being weird, and just... ya know...
