Disclaimer: I don't own Austin & Ally.

Can I marry her?

Austin Moon knock on the door to the Dawson's house. He's been here before of course. Many times. Since he and Ally started dating he's been here almost every day, but never has he been this nervous. The reason Austin's there today is not to meet his sweet Ally, it's to ask Ally's dad, Lester Dawson for the permission to marry his daughter.

"Austin, I'm sorry. Ally's not home right now, she went to..." begins Lester as he open the door and sees Austin.

"Chicago, yes I know. I'm actually here to see you, mr Dawson. It's kinda important." says Austin in a serious mature tone.

"Oh...come in then. A beer perhaps?" says Lester.

"Uh...yes, sir." says Austin.

Austin follow Lester into the living room.

"Have a seat on the couch, Austin. Tell me what's so important." says Lester, being much more of a true adult man than he usually is.

"What about that beer?" says Austin with a small smirk.

"I forgot, back in a few." says Lester as he head to the kitchen.

He soon return with two bottles of beer and give one of them to Austin.

"Sir..." says Austin.

"I'd prefer to be known as 'Mr Dawson' in a case like this." says Lester.

"Yeah, sure. Mr Dawson it is. As you know me and Ally have been dating for a long time and I feel like I wanna take things to the next step. I'm sure that Ally is ready to face that future with me, so I need to ask you if I can..." says Austin, trying to act as confident as possible even if he's a bit nervous.

"You're askin' me for permission to take Ally's hand in marriage?" says Lester surprised. Apparently he had no idea that Austin wanted to ask him about that.

"I wouldn't say it in such retro terms, but yes...I wanna have Ally as my wife if that's okey with you, of course. Please don't stop me from being with the only woman I've ever been in love with. You can trust me to keep Ally safe. Never am I gonna hurt her feelings." says Austin.

"Austin Monica Moon...you do understand that marriage is a serious thing? If you and Ally get married you can never be with another woman. You and Ally will be husband and wife and I want you to be sure about this because if you're not, someday you might break my little girl's heart and that I can never accept." says Lester.

"Nothing could force me to break Ally's heart. She's my dream-woman, everything I've ever wanted in a wife. If somebody asked me what the perfect woman for me would be like I'd describe Ally and no other. Let me be the only man for your daughter." says Austin.

Suddenly Lester smile and laugh and says "Wow, Austin! You really know what you want." Lester then turn serious and calm and says in a friendly tone "Seems like you're much more grown up than I thought. I think you are man enough to marry my little girl. You have my permission and blessing to take Ally as your wife."

"Thanks, mr Dawson!" says Austin with a smile. "I promise to love Ally forever."

"I hope so..." says Lester. "Take good care of my little Ally."

"Of course. Ally is always safe with me. It's my honor and pleasure to make sure that my Ally-Cat is safe and happy. She's my cutie." says Austin in a manly tone.

"Good, Austin. Soon Ally is only yours." says Lester.

"I'm lookin' forward to be able start a family of my own with Ally, movin' into a home with her, maybe havin' a kid. Ally is the only woman I want to spend the rest of my life with." says Austin.

Lester and Austin drink their beers and then they smile at each other and shake hands in silence before Austin leave.

"Thanks so much, mr D. Now that I've got your permission to marry the love of my life I'm the happiest man alive." says Austin as he walk out through the door.

Now Austin is much closer to the special day when he can kiss Ally and she'll be more than his girlfriend...she'll be his sweet beautiful wife.

The End.
