"Tag! You're it!" Zitroth prodded Pengentia with his claw, then bounded out of reach, "Hey!" Pengentia protested, "You cant do that!"
"Oh sorry Penny, I think I just did!" Zitroth retaliated in his goofy tone. Jumping back and forth as he waited for the female ice dragon to follow him.
"Get back here you little minx!" yelled Pengentia as she ran after him. Zitroth ran as fast as he could, but the ice dragoness gained on him with every stride. Zitroth quickly bounced on the ground, causing an earth wall to appear behind him. Pengentia gasped and back-winged to avoid hitting the wall. Growling angrily, she flew over the wall and shot ice missile in front of Zitroth. "Gah!" He screeched as he skidded on the ice. "Hey you guys!" Cynder merged from the shadows in front of a fast-approaching Zitroth. "Ah!" The black dragoness yelled as Zitroth crashed into her. "Oh, sorry." Zitroth said meekly. "Are you ok?" Zitroth stood up, letting Cynder stand up. "Yeah, uh, I'm fine." Cynder grumbled, picking herself up and giving herself a shake to get rid of the dust. "But I did come here to tell you guys that its time for a training session." Cynder said, before spreading her wings and taking to the air. "Aw, cool!" Zitroth gave a little bounce of excitement before following Cynder. "Hey, wait up!" Candice called as she took off.
"Ok, get into positions." Terrador called out. The three dragons just arrived in time to train. Spyro, Ashes, Inferno and Trygnor were sitting at the outskirts of the arena. Cynder and Ashes were the first two to enter the courtyard. "Ready?" Cynder took up a fighting stance and Ashes did the same. "Fight!" Terrador yelled. Cynder shot in the air and blasted a torrent of black fire down in Ashes's direction. Ashes yelped and shot up over Cynder's head. Anticipating the move, Cynder grabbed Ashes's back leg and slammed her back down. Ashes cursed under her breath as she picked herself up. Her eyes widened at Cynder banked to the left and dove down sharply. "Shit!" She yelled as Cynder came crashing down, Ashes rolled away as the stone cracked where she had just been. Cynder sprang up and swiped her claws at Ashes. Ashes dodged and rammed Cynder with her curved horns. Winded, Cynder growled and tried to get her breath back. Ashes charged at her, but Cynder released a tornado that spun Ashes around and brought her crashing down. "Time out!" Terrador yelled. Ashes picked herself up and shook the rubble off her body as Cynder landed next to her, the two dragonesses dipped their heads politely to each-other. "Next up, is Zitroth and Inf-" Terrador was cut of as an earsplitting roar ripped through the hallway. "What in the Ancestors was that?" Inferno yelled after the roar subsided. The small group of dragons looked up as part of the arena started to split and send rubble crashing down. "No idea, but we might have to MOVE!" Screamed Trygnor as a large chunk of stone crumbled from the roof. "Zitroth, you and Pengentia go and see if anyone needs help, Trygnor and Ashes, you go and heal anyone that needs it, Cynder, Inferno and I will battle this thing!" Spyro yelled before taking flight, Cynder and Inferno in hot pursuit.
