Keep Your Enemies Closer

Chapter 1

Kabuto walked into Kahona on a dark day. It was raining lightly and it was coating his glasses. He sighed and as he kept walking he was using his undershirt to clean them.

Shizune was running back to he apartment to get out of the rain. She was running through her list on a scroll to see if she had anymore errands to run before she could lay down in her bed and watch her new movie from the Princess Gale series. She was so busy that she didn't notice the man who was cleaning his glasses.

Kabuto was hit by a girl running through her list of things to do. "Watch where you're going," he said as he put on his glasses. The girl was Shizune, as Tsunade had called her. She was on top of him so he couldn't reach his weapons. The hand that was holding his undershirt was between them.

Shizune looked down to see it was Kabuto who she had hit. The right hand man of that pedophile ,Oorochimaru. She was in no place to attack. Her arms were between the two of them and her legs were on either side of him so she couldn't knee him in the stones. She would have gotten up but Kabuto was holding her hands with his. "Let me go, you gaywad!" she told him.

"I'm not gay! Oorochimaru just is! And I'm not letting you go because you'll have the first attack if I let go," Kabuto stated.

Shizune didn't think of this. "Well then...," she lost her train of thought. The rain was running down Kabuto's face and through his silver hair. She got lost in his blue eyes.

Kabuto was waiting for the dark haired woman to get off of him. Kabuto saw she had a weird look on her face. It looked like Oorochimaru when he saw Sasuke. For some reason unknown to himself Kabuto asked, "What are you planning on doing?"

Shizune kissed Kabuto lightly on the lips. "Be quiet or I'll report you," she said. Kabuto fell into the kiss but Shizune broke it up. "Why did you come here?" she asked. She was now holding his hand as she got up. She twisted it behind his back and asked again.

"I'm a spy, I was sent to gather information," Kabuto said.

Shizune began walking him to her apartment. "What is Oorochimaru planning?"

"I don't know, yet," he said. After a silent walk after that Sizune pushed Kabuto through a door. "Where am I?" Kabuto asked.

"My apartment," Shizune said. "If you don't want to be caught, stay here," she told him.

"Why?"

"Because, I do get lonely sometimes, Kabuto," she pushed him onto the bed, "and when I do I want some company."

"What do you plan to do?" Kabuto asked.

"You're going to stay here and be my slave/maid/husband. You will do things around here or I'll turn you in," she finished darkly.

"What do I do first?" Kabuto asked.

"Watch the newest Princess Gale with me," Shizune said putting the DVD in.(Sorry to break from the story but they live in the same time as us, just with ninjas and no guns or autos) "Go get some popcorn and some ice cream."

"Extra butter and French Vanilla?" Kabuto asked.

"My favorites."

"Yes," Kabuto shuddered, "dear."
