The Power Of Not-Being-Friends
Chapter one: Wills story
Will sighed. It was another day at school. Her first day at her school had been great. She had made friends with these nice girls (Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay-Lin) and had just found out that she was a Guardian of the Veil! But it all changed about 3 weeks after that. This story is from my(wills) point of view.
It started when Cornelia wanted to go to the mall.
She said "Oooh, I want to go to the mall!!!"
Then Hay-Lin said "Yeah, lets go!!"
So we all went to the mall to buy smoothes. We went to the café and drank our smoothes(I had strawberry, Irma had blueberry, Taranee had orange, Cornelia had apple and Hay-Lin had pear.).
We were all having a conversation about where we were going to see the next portal when Irma butted in and said "I want to go to the body shop store!!"
Then Taranee said "But I was hoping to go to the stationary store"
"I'm going to the fancy dress store to pick up some patterns for Grandma", said Hay-Lin.
"I want to shop for clothes", Cornelia said. So they all started fighting over which shop they should go to. Me, being the most sensible, stayed out of all the trouble and tried to help them all. But they wouldn't listen. They just kept on fighting and fighting and fighting. Then it happened. Something that had never happened before. We broke up. Irma went to the body store, Taranee went to the stationary store, Cornelia went to the clothes shop and Hay-Lin went to the costume store. I thought it was just a silly misunderstanding so I left them to do what they wanted. But when I went to school the next day, they ignored each other. That particular day was Best Friend day, a day when you had to write all about your best friend(s). I had a feeling that Best Friend day wasn't going to go as I planned. That break-time Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay-Lin were all being nice to me. I didn't know who to choose. The hour slowly came creeping up, and these were what they said on there Best Friend papers.
Irma's paper: Hi everyone, I want you to know that my best friend is sporty, Ginger, Tomboy and sensitive. Guess who? YES!!! ITS WILL!!
Taranee's paper: Well, after a little break up with my usual friends, I decided to just choose the one who is most sensible and okay with me and that is…WILL!!! SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND!!!
Cornelia's paper: Hey people, My best friend is Will and that's all that's to it. Thank you.
Hay Lin: After a little argue with my usual friends I would like to announce my best friend is….DA DA DA!!! WILL VANDOM!!!
I didn't know who to choose so I made this paper: Hey, My best friend is…Irma…and Taranee…and Cornelia…and Hay-Lin. Those are my best friends and there's no doubt about it.
Everyone cheered me on, even the teacher. I was happy that They were my friends again.
