Ice Rose

Raven took a step tentavely out onto the ice. She slid slightly, and she started, her arms moving out to keep her balance. How did Robin convince her to do this?

Robin knocked politely on Raven's door, which distracted her from meditating. She glanced at the door, and carefully stood up. She opened the door to see a very nervous looking Robin standing there.

"Raven."

"Robin."

"Would you go..." he was scuffling his boots like a timid schoolboy asking out the girl he liked.

"Yes?"

"Would you like to go ice skating with me?" he seemed to gain some confidence back and shot her a grin.

Raven grinned slightly," Sure."

"Then let's go!'

Oh, yes. That.

She suddenly felt a hand on her elbow, and another around her waist. She blushed and tensed slightly.

"Relax, it's me." Robin's voice floated into her hearing soothingly. She relaxed slightly.

"It's slippery." she commented.

"Yes, that's what ice is. Come on. I got you."

Raven nodded, very aware of how closely they were pressed together," Alright."

Robin carefully took a step out onto the ice, and Raven followed.

"Left, Right" he whispered, syncing them together.

They moved across the ice as one, and after a while, Raven learned to enjoy it.

Robin finally stopped," Ok, I'm going to let go." his grip slackened, and in surprise raven slipped. She grabbed onto his arm and ended up betn over it.

"Don't!" she said in a breath.

Robin carefully pulled her back up," It's Ok, I'm right here." he carefully let go again.

Raven stood still, and suddenly realized how cold it was outside. She shivered slightly, and looked up to Robin. He smiled reassuringly at her.

Raven slowly slid a foot forward, towards him. Her balance held. She breathed a sigh of relief. Another slide.

Her balance failed, she started falling forwards/ Her arms wheeled, her mouth open in a silent scream.

Robin tried to catch her, but suddenly they were both on their butts on the ice.

They looked at eachother. Looked around, then to eachother. And burst out laughing. At their situation, at how cold it was, anything and everything.

Cyborg peered through the bushes at the two, all of him painted camoflauge.

Beast Boy was next to him.

They looked at them, then at eachother. And snickered.

"Did you get all that?" BB asked through his snickers.

"All of it," Cyborg held up a video camera," Every minute."

"This is so going Youtube!"

Now, the two had now forgotten about being quiet and had become too enwrapped in their conversation to notice Robin and raven's position. So the glove coming out of nowhere and ripping the Camera out of Cy's hand mad4e them both jump and scream.

Robin held the camera in his hand, Raven next to him. They were both grinning.

Uh Oh.

Cyborg pointed at BB," It was his plan!"

"It's his camera!"

Robin turned to Raven," So, what punishment shall they have?" he said slowly and deliberately.

"The Horror."

Cyborg was suddnely on hsi knees in a pleading position, his eyes watery," Not the horror! Anything else but the horror!"

"Horror it is!"

Cyborg and Beast Boy had to watch Women in Black Twice. And they hade nightmares for weeks and had to use night lights.

Robin and Raven had grown together a bit more, and when robin had returned her to her room, had gotten a quick kiss on the cheek. The door was closed, and Robin stood there with a red tinge and a hand on where she kissed him.

Best. Day. EVER!

Now, normally i'm not much of a shipper, but I wanted to attempt it. I'd have to say it wasn't too extremely bad for my first time. I'm moe of a RobinxStarfire person, but RobinxRaven is growing on me.

Now, I would love some constructive criticism so I can get used to doing Romance, or just a review.
