Javik's head felt three sizes too big when he awoke. His four eyes didn't dare to open. They felt perfectly fine shut, though a groan escaped his voice without consent.
"UGH...is it time to rule the galaxy now?" he whimpered.
As he became more and more aware, he realized where he was sleeping felt better than anyplace he had been in his life. It was soft and comfy and...warm...that wasn't the bed. The feel of a warm body pressed against him. A delicate hand on his face. Couldn't have been that bad, he wasn't alone. He couldn't remember being so contented.
"Hey. You okay," the woman's lovely voice purred.
The throb in his head stayed dormant and he didn't dare to move.
"Ugh. I had a horrible nightmare, it was terrible. I dreamed...I dreamed I was in the future...I was surrounded by all these primitives...and a Liara."
"Well, you're safe and sound now back in good old 2186."
That was when his eyes shot open.
"2186!"
"Wait...Javik!?"
The lights came up too quickly and far too brightly as the Prothean's four eyes widened then winced at the sight of a semi-naked female primitive.
"AH!"
The blissful bed was a trap as he felt himself falling an undetermined distance before hitting the floor with a thud. By the time he focused he realized he had just fallen off the bed...and a mere foot down. The sharp movement sent additional pain to his hungover state.
"...I smell of primitives...it was no dream."
The primitive in question leaned over the bed in a similar state of disarray.
"Did we?" asked Commander Shepard.
"I don't know? Touch me and find-"
"NO. No touching. I don't want to know. And not. A. Word."
Javik was happy he could not read or recall what happened. Enough alcohol can distort that ability. And judging by all the empty bottles, how much alcohol would remain a mystery.
"I wished I could purchase a time machine so I can escape all the primitives."
Javik's hands squeezed the temples of his head.
"Or to tell myself to not have drank so much."
Couldn't resist a little Back to the Future referencing. Especially between his 'dream' and mentioning purchasing a time machine.
