"Um, Forte?" the pink-haired cook whispered. "Forte, get up…" she spoke again as she gently shook the red-head. "Wha…?" the groggy girl sat up slowly, looking around the room to see where the voice was coming from. "Um, I need help with a cake…" she drifted off for a moment trying to think of how to phrase 'I screwed up big time and there's a giant hole in the wall because I put lost technology in the filling and it exploded' without totally freaking Forte out "…that um, well you see… the cake… it kinda um… blew up? Eheh…"

Forte blinked quickly wondering just what she meant by 'blew up'. "You mean like the filling poured out the side or the top got too big right?" she asked slowly, not really wanting to hear the answer.

"Um, no I mean it like… exploded. Literally." Embarrassed, Millefeuille buried her face in her hands trying to avoid Forte's dumbfounded expression.

"Explo…" Forte's face couldn't help but twitch. Sure Millefeuille wasn't the brightest in the brigade but… "HOW THE HELL DO YOU BLOW UP A CAKE!?" she screeched out.

"I-I I'm sorry! I didn't mean to, it was an accident! You see there was this powdered stuff that looked kinda like flour, but it wasn't flour, but I was all out of flour, so I used it to replace the flour, and then the moment I put it in the oven the cake went 'BOOM' and there was black stuff and flour everywhere!" the frightened girl blurted out.

If I hear flour one more time I'll fucking shoot her. Inner-Forte seethed. "S-so what do you want me to do about it?" Forte asked as calmly as possible, hoping Inner-Forte would forget her guns. "Well um, I was hoping you would help me clean up... I couldn't ask any of the other Angels! Will you help me pretty, pretty, pretty please with a big-red-cherry on top? Please?" she pleaded, ready to get on her hands and knees to beg for help.

"Alright, alright just keep it down, you're gonna give me a headache." Forte yawned and got up from the bed. "Thank you very much!" Millefeuille exclaimed in her high-pitched voice. "Yeah, yeah."

They entered the kitchen and immediately got to work cleaning. First they swept up all the rubble, and then scrubbed off all the black residue left on the walls and around the oven. Lastly they patched up the hole in the wall, which in Forte's mind took way longer than it should have.

"Alright, I guess that's everything." Millefeuille said with odd cheer. "Yeah, thank God." Forte agreed.

Damn, Millefeuille looks pretty cute in that apron. "Y'know Millefeuille, since I did kinda go out of my way to help you…" Forte started, deciding to take advantage of this opportunity while it lasted "you kinda owe me one." "Oh, yeah, I guess I really do. Well what is it that you want?" Millefeuille asked sweetly in that innocent tone of hers.

It took less than a millisecond for Forte to make up her mind. "This." she whispered breathlessly as she leaned in and gave the pink-haired girl a soft kiss. Millefeuille's eyes widened much larger than normal but she kept completely still since she did after all owe it to her.

Forte slowly removed her puffed lips from Millefeuille's and left the room without uttering a single word, and walked back to her private room with a satisfied grin plastered on her face.
