You know, this should be where I say something along the lines of how if Ouran were mine, this pair would be cannon. Hey look, it is! Still isn't mine, though.

"Ne, Hikaru?" the younger of the twins, Kaoru, beseeched his brother one day.

"Nani, Kaoru?" Hikaru looked up from his homework spread out on his side of the bed and cocked his head to one side inquisitively.

"What does it feel like, to touch tongues with another person?"

"Eew, Kaoru, that's gross!"

"But so many people seem to enjoy it, I just thought…"

"That I had gone around kissing those worthless things that don't even care which one they get?"

"Well, no, but I kinda' want to know."

"There are plenty of girls who would kiss you if you asked."

"Eew, Hikaru, no! You're the only person worth it, you know that. And it's not like you never wondered, either!"

Hikaru stuck his tongue out at his brother. After a moment of confusion Kaoru pushed his own tongue to his twin's.

It was gross. The texture, they imagined, would be close to licking a frog (which neither of them intended to do to find out) Just the idea of pushing one of your most vulnerable organs up against another is creepy, but then also exchanging bodily fluids that the other had secreted for the purpose of digestion wasn't appetizing either.

They loved it. It sent a burning down to the pits of their stomachs, and Hikaru pushed a little closer so that it might be called a real kiss. Kaoru pulled away, flustered.

"What's wrong?" Hikaru rolled onto his side, grinning like the Cheshire Cat.

"What's wrong? You just kissed me! My first kiss!"

"So? We've had all our other firsts together, why not the rest of them?" The meaning of that sentence was not lost on the more innocent of the pair.

"Maybe we could sell Brotherly Love for Tamaki…"

"And we can join our first club. Together."
