Anakin had been in a horribly bad mood all day, and Obi-Wan had not had an idea why. His young Padawan had had his forceshields up all day, so Obi had no chance of feeling what was bothering him.
The Young boy's thoughts had been anywhere but meditation. He had been there yes, but his mind was back on Tatooine, back with his mother. He missed her so much. He had no clue how she was. He had no idea, if she was even alive.
"Anakin!" Obi-Wan said. "You're not focusing. You're radiating strong emotions, you can't fool me. You may have had your shields up, but I can feel the fear and anger around you. Remember, Young Padawan - fear is the path to the Dark side."
Anakin stood up in a quick motion; he had had enough of his Master's bullshit. "This is all your fault!" He shouted. "I wish, I had never met you or Qui-Gon! I wish, you had never brought me to this stupid Jedi temple!"
"Anakin, there is no need to - "Obi-Wan started, but was quickly cut off by Anakin, who was standing in the door to his chamber. "I HATE YOU!" he shouted, followed by a slam from the door.
At night, Anakin was still in his room. Obi-Wan could feel he was crying. He sat down and meditated, sending comforting vibes to the boy, who had finally let down his shields. Obi-Wan had soothingly lulled him to sleep.
It was the late hours, and Obi-Wan was still up. His meditation was interrupted by the sound of bare feet on the floor. Obi looked up at the boy, his own expression unreadable. Anakin's eyes were red and slightly swollen from crying. He sat down next to the older Jedi. "I'm sorry, Master. For everything I said." He started to tear up again.
"Oh Anakin," Obi-Wan said quietly, eyes soft. He pulled Anakin in to him.
Anakin leaned into the soft embrace of his master.
"I don't hate you, Obi-Wan." Anakin whispered
