He walks in your dressing room backstage after a long show. You share a passionate embrace and run your fingers through his silky black curls. He whispers in your ear. You feel his hot breath on your cheek. His firm hands encircle your waist and you are happy.

Rain pouring, voices shouting, thunder crashing, hearts breaking. Today marks the worst day of your life. He tries to calm you down and prove that this is the best choice. You push him away shouting, letting him know how much he's hurting you. He grabs hold of your wrists and pulls you close to him. Your body trembles against his and you cry into his chest. You are miserable.

Bright lights, music blaring, hearts racing, people cheering, cameras rolling. He stands 10 feet away from you. You look awkwardly at him. Your eyes meet and you feel your broken heart shatter. He closes his eyes and looks away. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…it's a new year. A new beginning.

Today marks the day of your two year anniversary. Too bad you're not spending it with him. You turn to Justin, watching him smile at you. Your stomach tightens and you feel sick. All you want to do his run away into his arms and feel better. All you feel is more pain.

Fan cheering, sweat dripping, mind rushing, fear building. You watch him walk awkwardly past you onto the stage. You catch his eye but he does nothing. He stands far away from you and your heart builds with anger. Realizing someone is hugging you, your eyes look up to see Joe smiling at you. Your mouth forms into a smile; something that you haven't done in a while. Your heart calms down as you realize at least one brother still loves you.

You talk to Demi on stage asking her about her hair. Just trying to start any conversation until he walks by you. Thinking he's past you, you turn and meet his chocolate eyes head on. His mouth forms into a hug smile. He pulls your body close and you feel warm against his chest. You pull away smiling. He just made your day.

Crowds screaming, adrenaline rushing, platform rising, eyes meeting. You smile at him with a microphone in hand. He smiles back at you strumming the familiar song. You both sing your hearts out, thinking that life is almost back to normal. He stops playing and the song ends. You pull him close and kiss him lightly on the cheek. He smiles again watching you disappear backstage.

You finally know that this is the end.
