Spring Innocence

Spring,

A time to laugh,

The world has begun anew,

Life is birthed in an Innocent wonder,

Innocence,

A season of happiness,

Portrayed in a young life,

Flowers smile from a bed of green,

Smile,

The sun shines with joy,

Winter's cruel chains are broken,

The dance has begun with a glorious song,

Dance,

Oh, woodland fauns dance,

Leap and prance in the moonlit clearing,

Make music and be merry friend of the forest,

Music,

Serenade in song a glorious morn,

Nymphs, sing, join in the song of new life,

Dryads, let your water flow in a murmuring tune,

Flow,

The song of rebirth,

Build, grow, and the dance goes on,

Birds in the trees, soar on new wings to announce His coming,

Soar,

Over hills, valleys, and plains,

The song that is sung and the dance it brings,

From the earth springs new life and joins in the moment of tranquillity,

Life,

Full of joy,

Rejoice in a new coming,

Rise from the earth and sing out in delight

Delight,

Winter's heartless face is pealed from the land,

Melted with the enchantment of the birth of a new world,

Thawed, thawed with His coming and a spring hope of salvation.
