Okay this is for Flaming Platinum, it can also be considered a side-story to Halfway since it's about Ryouma...again. This is also written for Diversity Challenge, XrosWars/Hunters A60: write a first person POV fic.
"Don't walk away, Ren, please."
I didn't listen. It was stupid and childish not to but I didn't and kept walking. But saying sorry didn't change anything. It didn't change the fact that he had thrown everything aside. I'm not the biggest expert on friendship or anything but what he did aint it. Tagiru and him weren't even great friends or anything yet he had thrown them aside to face Tagiru. I continued to walk when I felt a hand grab my wrist. I looked up to see Taiki.
"Forgive him, Ren," Taiki said. "He misses you. And you miss him too."
I did not. I did not miss him at all. That was complete and utter rubbish...okay, fine I missed him a little. But not enough to forgive him right away.
"Ren," Ryouma said again and I sighed.
"Look I aint gonna forgive you yet," I told him firmly before I smiled a little. "But I can give you a second chance."
Ryouma nodded. "That's all I want right now."
I shrugged. "Well, you got it. Now come on." I reached out a hand. "You still got Airu to make up to."
Ryouma's eyes brightened a little and he took my hand a little too eagerly. I rolled my eyes but squeezed it back. I really hope I don't regret this.
