Waiting With Bated Breath
So, this is my first fanfiction story, so bear with me as I try out different ideas. I welcome your reviews and feedback and I hope that y'all will enjoy reading the story as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Basically this will be a crossover between Supernatural and Twilight. I'm not a huge fan of the Twilight characters' personalities, so they will be a little OOC, but the Supernatural characters will be pretty much the same (I mean honestly, how could anyone want to change Dean?). In this crossover the characters will be all human. There are no demons, vampires, or any other mythical creatures. Also, Jess is alive and will be for the duration of the story. Mary is also alive and John is a much better father than he is in the show. I do have this as a Bella/Dean pairing, but I am willing to hear suggestions.
Full Summary: 18-year-old Bella Swan and her best friend Jess Moore (19) both start out the summer, looking forward to their jobs as counselors at the local camp in Forks, WA. Jess' boyfriend, Sam Winchester (20) joins them at the camp, mainly due to the fact that the Winchesters own the place. Bella's boyfriend of two years, Edward Masen (19), also tags along, hoping to convince John to give him a job once he arrives. But as the summer begins in high prospects, will Bella's perfect world come crashing down? Will love be lost? Will new love arise? And who is the stranger in the '67 Chevy Impala?

OUTSIDER POV:
Down on a small road in rural Washington there was a Dodge Charger inhabited by four teens on their way to Lake Wallula Summer Camp that was owned and operated by John and Mary Winchester. Their youngest son Sam just so happened to be the driver of the Charger making its way down to the lake. In the passenger seat was his girlfriend of 4 years, Jessica "Jess" Moore. Behind Jess was a boy by the name of Edward Masen who was joining them on the ride in hopes of getting his job back at the camp after not-so-wisely quitting the previous summer after a "better offer" came around. Unfortunately, that "better offer" fell through this summer and Edward was hoping he could get his old job back with his pride still intact.
And last, but certainly not least, was Isabella "Bella" Swan, seated behind her in-everything-but-blood big brother, Sam Winchester. Anyone would've thought that the two hadn't seen each other in 10 years with the way they were chatting up the confined space of the car, when in fact they saw each other at least twice a day. What with Bella and Jess being best friends, and Bella practically growing up at the Winchester's camp, the close bond between Sam and Bella was inevitable.
As the two talked and joked around, Jess looked lovingly at her boyfriend and was absolutely content knowing that the two most important people in her life were thicker than thieves. However, this sentiment was not shared with Edward, who was sitting in envy as he watched his 2-year-girlfriend, Ms. Bella Swan, pay more attention to the driver than she was to her own boyfriend. Sam and Jess shared a look as they saw the expression on Edward's face, while Bella remained oblivious; humming a tune that only she knew the words to, as she waited in anticipation of arriving at her childhood haven. Yes, this summer would be an eventful one.
