"So, you've decided to join us, Kyou."
The orange haired teen scowled when he took in the sight of the family staring at him.
"Yeah, Yeah," Kyou replied, ignoring the cow's gaze and sat down next to the dog.
"Apologize to Miss Honda for making her food get cold waiting for you to sit down," the rat stated. Kyou growled.
"Ah . . . You don't have to Kyou-kun!" the brunette cried, feeling the fighting tension in the air.
"Cat, now," Yuki commanded. Fists clenching, Kyou glowered.
"Do it, kitten," a new voice also commanded. Ruby eyes widened at the words and Kyou bit his lip from shouting out.
"N-No! Yuki-kun! Hatsuharu-kun! Kyou doesn't need to apologize, let's just eat," Tohru stuttered.
"I'm sorry, okay! Damn it all!" Kyou stood up and stomped out the door. Haru watched as his lover walked away, feeling slightly guilty about cornering him and not taking his side. He picked up his bowl of rice as the others started eating and looked at the cat's bowl, he really did feel guilty.

"Damn it all! Stupid rat! Stupid cow! Damn it to everyone down there!" Kyou shouted to the night. He ruffled his hair as he placed his head between his knees and clenched his eyes shut.
"You done not feeling guilty?"
"Shut up, Haru. Aren't you going home now?" Kyou spat, sending the cow a menacing glare that could've killed him instantly.
"You know that I get lost easily," Haru stated, plopping down next to his boyfriend on the roof. Kyou scoffed,
"Good. I don't want to see your face for a few days."
"Kyou . . . you don't mean that. Did what happened earlier between us mean nothing to you?" the Ox whispered. The orange teen pushed the Ox away when he felt the other's shoulder connect with his,
"I could say the same thing to you! How could you take that rat's side? You know very well why I didn't come down on time and yet you sat there all quiet, waiting until Yuki, your precious Yuki backed me into a corner before you came with the finishing blow to my already bruised pride. Do you know how much that hurt me?"
"I'm sorry, but I'm only keeping my promise with you about not letting the others find out about our relationship. I thought I'd at least do that much to make it real. To make others think that I do still have a thing for Yuki. But I swear, I love you and only you," Haru stated with a sigh. Kyou blinked and also let out a heavy sigh,
"Damn it . . ."
"Should I have told you ahead of time?" Haru wondered. Kyou shook his head,
"No . . . No, it's fine. Being unpredictable, is better. It's more real that way."
Haru nodded, "So . . . do I get that make-up sex now?"
A blush stained the cat's cheek as Haru grinned, "I'll take that as a yes."
The cat let the Ox take them back to his room. It was a wonder that the Ox remembered where it was, but Kyou was too preoccupied of what's to come to voice his opinion on the matter. He'd apologize sincerely to Tohru someday, just not tonight.
