I'm Annabeth Chase. When I was in fifth grade, since I don't know when, I had a crush on someone named Mike. It took forever for me to finally admit it, since it was the first one. Then, in sixth grade, my homeroom class was one I was with all day (except for three classes). Of coarse, he was the only other person from my fifth grade class. It was a good and bad thing. Good, to see him, but bad, because now it would be that much harder to get over him. Hell, we even sat next to each other for five weeks. One specific thing I remember is the quizzes my class took every week. My friend on the other side of me never read the books the quizzes were for. That lead to me letting her copy me, which lead to Mike, also copying me. I didn't say anything.

Later, in seventh grade, I told Matteline, a friend of mine, about Mike. Funny thing was, I couldnt explain why. (this happened late 1st, early 2nd quarter)

At the beginning of the second half of the school year, all of that changed. this is where the story begins.
