"I don't want to do this," came a muffled voice from behind the bed. Amy rolled her eyes.
"Come on, Dan. Your room's a pigsty. When was the last time you cleaned this place?"
"When dinosaurs ruled the earth!" Dan yelled back. Amy sighed.
"Dan, you've run from ninjas, broken into places that were supposed to impossible to break into, faced animals that no kid your age could face, stolen priceless pieces of art from various places, and you can't manage to clean up your room?"
"I'm special," Dan explained, emerging from under the bed with dust in his hair.
Amy had to laugh.
