Prologue:
Hiccup came in as soon as the midwife allowed him, when he got in he saw his beautiful wife Astrid, and his handsome newborn son. He walked over towards Astrid and looked down at his son. He was a pale boy, rather frail looking. He had a mop of auburn hair, and two beautiful aqua coloured doe eyes. His eyelids were delicate and had beautiful, long eyelashes running over them. He had a cute little nose with freckles running down it, reaching his cheeks, which were a beautiful, rosy pink. His delicate lips were as rosy as his cheeks. All in all the newest Haddock was by far the cutest baby the Berkians had ever seen. The new parents finally settled on the name Brant. Soon Snotlout and Odette, Tuffnut and Mirtha, Fishlegs and Ruffnut, Gobber, Stoick, Spitelout, and the Hofferson's entered.
"He's beautiful," Odette said, and the others agreed.
"thanks," said hiccup and Astrid.
"now, will you two please put us out of our misery and tell us his name?" asked Snotlout.
"Brant," said hiccup.
"What a cute name," said Joy Hofferson
"if Sven was still here he'd be so proud," said Accel Hofferson.
"don't worry, its only 3 more weeks till he and Sheila and their 12 year old son Todd are back from their quest," reminded Astrid.
Just then there was a knocking on the door. Joy got up and opened the door, outside was Sven and his family.
"Sven, what are you doing here so early?" asked Stoick as they entered.
"Well the weather was very good to us and the wind helped us out a lot, but enough about that, 1 year away and my sister has a baby, I'm so thrilled to be an uncle. Now lets see the little one, the midwife is ranting on to the whole village about him being the cutest baby she's ever seen."
The family looked down upon the newborn.
"my my, isn't he precious," said Sheila.
"wow, I'm sooo lucky to have such a cute baby cousin, I cant wait to show him off to all my friends, their going to be sooo jealous," said Todd causing the others to laugh.
"ok, well I think its time we leave the new family to settle down, lets go," said Gobber.
Unfortunately as they left no one noticed the outline of a horn in the bushes as Alvin spied on the Haddock. Finally I'll get my revenge he thought.
