Chapter 1
I stood outside the guild. "No. I need to do this. I refuse to be paralyzed by my fear any longer. Today I get my courage back!" I yelled then stepped on the grate. "Pokemon Detected! Pokemon Detected!" A voice yelled. This scared me out of my wits. "WAH!" I yelled and jumped off. "I can't do it! All this time and I can't do it. I should really go to the beach." I started walking to the beach.
Five minutes later, the beach
I smiled as I reached the beach. Then I noticed a small flickering light. Curosily, I looked towards it. I noticed that it was the tail-flame of a charmander and it was almost out! I jumped up in surprise!
Charmander's POV
"W-Wake up! Please wake up." A voice said. I groaned and opened my eyes slowly. a riolu was looking at me. "You're up! Phew.." It said. I jumped in fear. "Y-Y-You're a pokemon and y-you talk!" I said. The riolu looked puzzled. "So what? You're a charmander and you talk." It said. I looked puzzled. "What do you mean I'm a charmander? I'm a- WAHHH!" I yelled. At this moment I noticed my body. My skin was red, I had claws instead of hands, and I had a tail. "No. T-This can't be happening." I said. I ran to the water and looked in it. Sure enough, I saw a charmander. I didn't have time to react as the riolu ran into me. I fell into the water and blacked out.
