"What in the name of blumper monkeys are you doing?"
"... Bl... blumper monkeys? What the hell are blumper monkeys!"
"How would I know? You're the literary genius of the family."
Sam just gaped at Brooke. "Yea, but I don't think those are real."
Brooke harrumphed. "I think you just don't know them!"
"I think you shouldn't think then!"
Brooke glared. "You're just trying to change the subject. I'm onto you McPherson." Brooke actually took a look at what Sam was doing. She was sitting in the backyard, surrounded by a bunch of poles and a plastic like covering. "So what the heck is this!
Sam looked at Brooke, a look oh utter shock on her face. "Umm... camping. Haven't you ever seen a Tent."
Brooke looked again. Oh... duh, it's a tent. "Well, I know that," she bluffed. "But like... why?" Standard procedure with Sam, don't ever let her think she has the upper hand.
Sam started to grin, like she knew she really DID have the upper hand. Uh oh. "Well I'm making me a tent so we can have a camp out tonight. I'm thinking marshmallows and hot chocolate over a fire."
"Two issues I see Sam. 1 – no fire," she started, with an eyebrow cocked.
"Just you wait princess! I'll have one."
Brooke begrudgingly nodded, figuring that Sam really WOULD make one. "Ok, but 2 – you said we. As in you and I, right? Yea I don't do camping."
"Oh yes you do, the two of us are doing this tonight."
"What makes you think I'll agree to that!"
Sam grinned slyly. "Oh baby, I have plans within plans. You have no idea how far ahead I am, princess."
"Oh really? Well let's hear it."
She rolled her eyes at the cheerleader. "Well if I told you they might not work. Just rest assured you're going to end up camping out here, you might as well do it peacefully."
Brooke smiled. "Oh, well in that case I guess I give. Though I have to warn you, I'm not a good camper."
"I knew that. It's rather obvious."
Brooke harrumphed. "HEY! What are you implying?"
Sam smiled sweetly. "Well... you're high maintenance." Before Brooke could get angry, Sam immediately continued. "But in a cute way!"
"A cute way of high maintenance... I don't think that exists."
Sam sighed. "I know. I don't know what I was trying to say."
"I know you meant nothing bad Sam. Relax."
Sam ducked her head down. "So you'll join me tonight?"
"Of course silly. But you have to set up the tent and the fire."
Sam jumped up, already excited again. "Oh don't worry! Everything will just be perfect for you princess!"
