Trust

Sakura paled as the roller coaster started. Naruto invited her and Sasuke to go with him and Hinata on a double date to an amusement park. Of course, her and Sasuke said yes. Her and Sasuke had been together for the same amount of time as Naruto and Hinata, 2 years. Sakura didn't mention her fear of heights, she didn't want to ruin their fun.
She has had acrophobia since she was little. She was exactly six years old. She had been looking out her bedroom window. Of course, she just had to open it completely. Because she leaned to far out, Sakura ended up falling out of her window, earning her a broken arm and a fear of heights. The rides won't be that tall. She had reassured herself before going.
But no, Naruto had to choose the tallest and scariest roller coaster for them to go on. Of course, Naruto also had to insist that her and Sasuke went in the very front of the roller coaster. "You should get the full experience!" He had said. Sasuke had just shrugged, he didn't seem afraid at all. Sakura didn't want to refuse to she just sucked it up and sat in the front of the roller coaster with him.
Now, in the words of Shikamaru, she was in a very troublesome situation. She felt like the roller coaster was teasing her as it started its' tantalizingly slow ascent up. Her heartbeat quickened as adrenaline pumped through her veins. It's even taller than I originally thought! Squeezing her eyes shut, Sakura tried to calm her racing heart. Unconsciously, she tightened her grip on Sasukes' hand.
"Sakura, what's wrong?" Sasuke asked. She opened her eyes and tried to focus on his face instead of the startling height they were at. "U-um, w-well I-I'm s-scared of h-heights." She squeaked out, face turning paler as she glanced down. "Hey," Sasuke said gently. Her face turned towards him. "Everything will be just fine. Relax." He said reassuringly. He took her hand and rubbed his thumb in soothing circles on it.
He could see her body visibly relax, previously tense muscles unclenching. "It'll be fun, trust me." He said. She nodded once and soon they were at the very top of the hill their roller coaster was climbing up. Then, at a startling speed, the roller coaster started to descend. The only sounds Sasuke paid attention to were Sakura's delighted screams as the roller coaster descended. She trusted him and he trusted her, that was what mattered.
