Rain poured down, silently soaking the sun-baked campus of Pacific Coast Acadamy. As numerous students were filing in the many buildings on the campus, one particularly bushy haired male was in his dorm room, staring out at the gloomy day which matched his gloomy mood.

"I hate rain." he quietly mumbled, looking down to see one very wet Zoey Brooks entering the lounge, holding her now soaked towel. They had plans to go to the beach today.

"I hate MacKenzie Baker." stated Logan Reese, slamming the door as he stumbled in their shared dorm room, more wet than most students happened to be.

"Whats your deal, broke your mirror?" Chase asked sarcastically. What could he do? He was to busy sympathizing for himself. And his rained out "date" with Zoey. Fine, so it wasn't 'technically' a date, but Chase had planned on telling Zoey what everone else apparently knew. Chase had been in love with Zoey since he had first laid eyes on her on her first day at PCA.

"Shut up. And I have an extra mirror in the drawer in case Delilah breaks." Logan said stubbornly. Ignoring the queer use of the name Delilah, on Logan's mirror none the less, Chase decided to pick up his cell and apologize to Zoey on their plans being rained out.

"...and when I leaned on to kiss her, cause she was obviously tempted by the charms of THE Logan Reese, she dumped her Sprite on me! I spent forty dollars on this shirt, and she just goes and ruins it. I cannot believe the nerve to deny..." Logan went on, oblivious to the fact that Chase was on the phone and no one else was in the room.

"Hello?"

"Hey Zo, I'm sorry it's raining. we should go to the beach tomorrow. I hate the god damned rain, and..."

"Chase, it's fine. I love the rain. Wanna come over here? We can play would you rather..."

Zoey said enthusiastically.

"Yeah, sure, sounds great." A smile peaked through on Chase's face for the first time that day."

In the girls dorm...

"Lola, Quinn, Chase is coming over. You guys wanna play would you rather with us?" Zoey asked.

"I would, but I have to go attach wires to Marky's temperal lobe." Quinn said in as normally as if she said she was going to get a cup of coffee.

"I'm in." Lola said cooly, as she filed her nails.

"Okay, thats fine. Just remember, Lo, nothing between Chase and me. You know..." Zoey said in an unconvincing tone.

"That your just friends, nothings gonna change, yadda yadda ya. I know Zo." Lola said with a bored expression. She had heard it all before. As if it wasn't obvious that Zoey and Chase loved each other. Unfortunately they were the last left clueless.
