Moonlight
Summary: In the moonlight she was beautiful.
She stands there and doesn't even glance at me as Malfoy and Harry exchange insults. She's plain, with her nose slightly smooshed and turned up into the air. I don't know what Malfoy ever saw in her, but then again, I never could see what she saw in him either.
She laughs, high and annoying, at a rather clever insult that the blond sent Harry's way. "Don't make my ears bleed, Parkinson."
She turns her cold eyes on me, and there's no love lost between us. I'm beneath her, you can see it in her eyes, that she truly believes that she's better than me. I don't mind, I feel the same way about her.
"Oh look, Potter's taught a chipmunk to talk." That's reaching, I think. My teeth were fixed years ago, but it was still a change from insulting my intelligence or parentage, points for that. Then again, she never did stoop so low as to calling me a mudblood. She'd been raised better than that.
Flintwick came by, interrupting our word spar and we break apart, Parkinson getting the last word.
In the moonlight she is beautiful. Her skin is washed in the coolness of it, looking almost too delicate to touch, and her hair gleams so black blue seemed to glow at the edges. We sit in an empty class room, near the windows for better light and she's looking at me with such warmth in her eyes I can't help but kiss her.
There's no apologize for earlier, no whispered lies of how we didn't mean it. That was then, this is now, and now we touch and kiss and love.
"Hermione," she whispers, almost too soft for me to hear, as my teeth find her pulse point. I shiver at sensation of her breath on my skin.
The moon hangs heavy overhead, the only witness to the two of us, two girls sitting in an empty classroom, expressing their love in the only way they know how, the only way they can.
During the day she's harsh and cruel, and I hate her, but with moonlight shining through the glass, everything it beautiful.
A/N: My second Pansy/Hermione. I really like them. Hope you enjoyed, and press the button for a poor girl. Please *puppy dog eyes*
