What could Erin say she was daddy's little girl. She knew how to work it too. Though the fact that she had five older brothers didn't help. Erin knew the best times to catch her father off guard and when she did it worked like magic. On this late afternoon dieing to get away from the island home and not seeing her brothers, Erin made her way through her fathers office door.

She sat in the chair in the corner and watched as he finished a call. Once he did he looked over at her and continued his work. Erin just sat silently looking fascinated by her fathers work. Finally having enough of her daughters silence Jeff sat his pen down and got up from the desk. He made his way across the room and looked at his 16 year old daughter.

"What?" He questioned.

"Oh nothing don't let me bother you." Erin said sighing.

"Erin can we quit playing the games what's up." Jeff said trying to get whatever it was out of his daughter a.s.a.p.

"Daddy." There it was Jeff thought.

"Yeah." Jeff sat in the chair next to his daughter's.

"I was wondering if I could go to the mainland for a couple of days." Erin looked at her father and put her best puppy dog pout on.

"Well if that is ever going to happen: 1. you need one of your brothers to go, 2. you need to tell me in full detail what you will be doing, and 3. you need to have your cell phone at all times." Jeff smirked at his youngest.

"Ok I'll ask Virgil. As for what I will be doing just visiting with some friends, and you know I always have my phone on dad." Erin said pulling out all the stops.

"Hmmm. Well if you can do that then I'll think about it." Jeff said knowing that getting Virgil to leave the island simply to baby-sit might be a tough challenge.

"Thank You." Erin yelled as she ran out of the office. Jeff smiled and began to work again.
