Why?
Axton never gets flustered, it just isn't his style: there's very little he's ashamed of.
He can receive compliments and appreciations about anything and he'll just respond with a huge grin and a "yeah, I know".
Then why whenever he sees the heart emoji pop up from Zer0′s helmet he feels his heart swell and his face heat up?
