Prologue
"I can't do it!" Evelyn exclaimed, at the end of the hallway, looking at her father angrily.
Evelyn and her father's deep blue eyes glared into each other, as she walked into the library, at the end of the hallway where he was sitting.
"You might as well be an muggle, with that attitude" He grumbled, once she entered.
She stood there, expressionless. This is not something she hasn't heard before, but this year it won't matter. Why? do you ask. This year is the year. The year that she finally gets to attend Hogwarts.
"I have a letter here for you" he smiled, waving it in the air.
She reached for it eagerly when she saw the symbolic stamp of Hogwarts as it's seal.
"Now, now. Patience child." He chuckled darkly, pulling the envelope further away.
"I've already read it" he continued, dully. "Congrats" he said, placing the envelope on the table, sliding it toward her. She reached for it and smiled, automatically the moment the envelope touched her skin. She took a long breath then unfolded the papers.

"Hogwarts" she smiled.
