Valkyrie was tired of waiting. She sighed and got up out of her bed. She was going to tell Skulduggery her feelings no mater what because, quite frankly she had run out of patience. She was going to pin him down and kiss his teeth If she had to. She walked up to her mirror and touched it. The reflection was dressed and walking down the stairs to her parents. Valkyrie heard the front door to her parents house open. She dived into the bushes waiting for her parents to pass. They got in the car and drove of but as she was starting to climb out of the bushes she saw the Bentleys bonnet come around the curve of her street. She quickly ducked down before Skulduggery could see her she peeked through the bushes.
