"Leo, Are you sure about this?" Said a worried looking Piper.
"Yeah, I'm sure. Now, Just run off the platform and jump. Then, Pull the string and the parachute will activate. Wait until you drop down into the water, then just swim to the shore." Leo said, with that impish grin of his.
Leo and Piper were in the middle of sky-diving off a giant floating platform 30-ft off the ground above water. They were also on a quest to go and find Jason, Get back Apollo's Lyre, and save- well, I'm not sure WHAT there saving in the first place, but... yeah.
Piper looked scared. She didn't want to do this in the first place, but Leo persuaded her into doing it.
"Come on, Beauty Queen! Just jump! Here, watch me." And with that, He jumped off the platform.
"LEO! WHAT THE HECK?!" Piper peered off the side, worried and a bit scared. Then, A colorful circular ballon thing popped up around Leo's head. And the crazy thing was, He was LAUGHING.
Piper just gave up. She jumped, and started screaming. And when she felt warm arms around her, She stopped and turned around. It was... LEO! But, she noticed the sea coming up faster and faster... She got out of his grasp and pulled the cord. The parachute came out, and now they were both floating in the air, just waiting for the water to come. Then, they hit the water. The cold, icy feeling of the water sent shivers up Piper's spine. Then, her head went up the survace. But, no Leo.
"LEO?!" She called out.
Leo popped behind her. "Boo!" Piper jumped and turned around. She glared at him and sighed.
"How in the world- Where is shore anyway?" She asked, looking really scared now. "Wait... WHERES THE FOOD?"
"Heh, Uh I might of have accidentally forgotten to bring it?" He said, kinda looking apologetic and guilty.
Piper face-palmed. "Were screwed."
