The attic door was left ajar. Through the crack, piles of boxes and trunks could be seen.
A veil, a bouquet, jewelry and gifts adorned the clutter, their shimmer catching the light, causing a glint to flash through the room.
And goblins and ghosts infested the space, leaping out of their hiding place.
They shout, "I do!" and fall back down, in mock of the wedding that never came…
