Everyone would kill to have Bob's parents. They think life would be so much better with parents who would let you get away with murder. But man, are they ever wrong. Am I the only one with common sense?

Having parents like Bob's would actually make life a lot worse. You would need to have a lot of responsability to have his parents, but it's not like you would, since his parents aren't going to teach to have responsability as a kid. There's no dicaplin, no consequinces for anything. It's actually shocking he managed to live to be 17...

I still wish I had Bob's parents, though. I'd trade parents with him anyday. I have a different reason than everyone else. I don't want his parents for the heck of being able to get away with murder. I want his parents because then I'd probably die at the fountain, not him. I'd be the one trying to get my parents to say "no", not him. I'd be the wreckless and careless one. I'd be the dead one, not him.

I hate the people who said Bob was lucky to have his parents. I've hated his parents ever since I met them. They were nice people, they were just incredibly irresponcable. I knew that one day Bob was going to do something stupid and get hurt trying to get his parents to say "no". He knew it, too, we just never thought he'd die.

A/N: I know it's really short and it isn't very good but I felt like posting it anyway. I wrote it a while ago, around when I first started writing The Girl Who Cried Wolf.
