I never really liked it here, Mother is always telling me to do things. Anyway, she likes my brother, Tyler, more than me. She was so mad when I became a second to my father. She thinks her line of power would always be paced from mother to daughter, not mother to son. Mother said that her line was a female one. My mother is a goddess, like me, but I'm more like dad. I should tell you about my family. I have three brothers, but I am the oldest and the only girl. I'm fraternal twins with Tyler, Edmin and Edsmin are the identical twins. We are all born at the same time, this is said to be impossible, but if you knew who our mother and father are you would understand. My mother's name is The Great Mother Goddess and my father's name is Mithros.
"This is the last day I'm here and you're going to yell at me?!"
"Well when you did something like that, yes!"
This is a normal conversation me and my mother have a lot. I'm always doing things she thinks is not lady like. And I don't care! That's why mother and father decided to send us to the mortal realms to live like and with mortals. Mother thinks it will make me more lady like. I'm only child god, but I'm strong willed for my age. In mortal time I'm 500 years old, but here I'm only 5 and that I will be in the mortal realms. Mother and Father are sending us to the City of the Gods, the greatest school of magic in the mortal realms.
7 years later
The new class came today. Most of them are boys, but there are about 5 girls. That's the most girl we have ever had in one class. This year me and my brothers get to be part of the class! We're 12 now so we have the right, lots of people say we don't beause we have no noble family, because no one knows where we came from so we can't go to magic school. We have lived here our whole lives!
There is this one fire red haired boy named Thom of Pirate's Swoop. I have heard he is the first son of the King Champion, Alanna the Lioness of Pirate's Swoop and Olau. If this is true, I have a chance to meet a knight! And this is the first year we get to go the palace and get to learn from and the sorcerers that live there. We leave the day after tomorrow, it's going to be the first time me or my brothers have ever left the City of the Gods.
"Hello."That was the little red head, Thom.
"Umm… Hi…" I had never talked to him before and I did not know what to say to him.
"Are you Edmin and Edsmin's older sister?"
"Umm, yes… Why do you ask?" He last looking at me with his big brown eyes, they are nice to look at, but they have no emotion. When you look in someone's eye you see life, a spackle, something! This boy had nothing.
"Edmin talks about you a lot, so does Edsmin too in his own way, you know because he can't talk and all..." This made me a little mad. I don't like it when people talk about my favorite little brother. I turn and griped him,
"Never talk about my little brother like that, if you do I will find you and kill. Do you hear what I'm saying?!" He pulled back, he was strong for his looks and his age.
"Yes, I hear you!"
"Good." I looked at him, he was still watching me.
"What?" I asked.
"You don't look like your brothers, but they say you're all born at the same time. I thought all twins looked the same."
"I'm not twins with them, I'm twins with Tyler."
"But you're born at the same time and you're siblings."
"Yes."
"How?"
"I don't know, okay!? No one would us tell how they know!" I think he could see that I did not want to talk anymore, because he just sat on his horse beside me and said nothing. The silence was nice.
