This is my very first fanfic, so please don't expect it to be any good! I suck at writing, but I love KirinoxShindou fanfics so I thought that I could try and write one…
Disclaimer: I don't own Inazuma Eleven/Go or any of its characters… though I wish I did…
Kirino flinched at the piercing sound of his alarm-clock. He had been awake for about an hour now, deep in thought when his alarm-clock went off. He was thinking about how to deal with those two bratty daughters of his landlord. Every single morning, they expected him to walk them to school and every single evening, the expected him to walk them home and do their homework.
Kirino was trying to come up with excuses to tell Shindou when he asked why he was busy again. "Homework…" Kirino mumbled. "I can tell him 'Homework'"
A few minutes later, his mom's clear and distinctive voice rang through the house saying, "Ranmaru? … Ranmaru! Come down, dear, or you'll be late for school!" Kirino jumped up, ran out the door and into the kitchen.
"Ohaiyo, Kirino-senpai!" said the younger one of the two bratty sisters.
"Ohaiyo… Sasha…"
"Ohaiyo, Ranmaru" the older sister said teasingly. She knew Kirino only allowed his parents to call him "Ranmaru", so she enjoyed calling him that.
"Ohaiyo, Julia…"
Kirino walked over to the table and sat down next to his mother. "You're not really wearing you hair like that to school, Are you?" questioned Julia, scornfully.
Kirino asked "What's wrong with it?"
"Take those hair ties out, Ranmaru! You'll make us look bad when we walk to school with you!" Julia said, angrily. Kirino didn't budge. He couldn't take them out. They were much more meaningful than those girls thought but if he told them, they would pressure him into taking them off even more.
When they were little, Shindou had told Kirino that he liked Kirino's hair like that and that he would always buy hair ties for him so Kirino wouldn't forget about they're friendship. It didn't make much sense, but Kirino still didn't let anyone touch his hair ties and he still didn't want to take them off in fear of losing them and Kirino didn't want Shindou to spend his money on him, so he was always took great care of his hair ties by always keeping them in his hair.
"Ranmaru, TAKE THEM OFF!"
For the first time since he moved into this apartment, Kirino stood up to that stubborn girl. "NO! … no… I can't…" Kirino stood up, grabbed his backpack, and ran out the door.
"Kirino-senpai…" mumbled Sasha, "Why are you so mean to him?" she demanded.
"Why do you care? Oh yeah, you like him!" said Julia teasingly.
"I do not! I'm just treating him with respect because he's older than me!" The two sisters are opposite when it comes to Shindou and Kirino. Sasha, the younger sister, likes Kirino but hates Shindou. Julia, the older sister, hates Kirino but likes Shindou. Kirino new this and he didn't want Shindou to have to see them again… ever again.
Shindou didn't know why Kirino spent so much time with them or why Kirino knew them so well. He thought that Kirino was trying to replace him as his best friend. The sisters bossed him around too, but Shindou put up with it just so he could spend a little more time with Kirino. They dragged him everywhere. Even when Kirino protested they would remind him about how their father gave his family a discount on their room rental and Kirino would just go along with it. His family was in desperate need of money, but he just couldn't tell Shindou. It would bring too much shame upon his family and he loved his parents, so he could never do anything that disgraceful.
Please, Shindou… please trust me until my family solves this money crisis…
Kirino was running so fast that he nearly missed Shindou walking on the other side of the street. Shindou yelled "Kirino! KIRINO!" Kirino glanced at him, but didn't answer. In fact, he didn't stop running until he reached the red light. Kirino sighed.
Why do they have to have red lights?
Shindou crossed the street and ran up to Kirino "Kirino… Is there something wrong?" Shindou put a hand on Kirino's shoulder.
Kirino flinched. "... O-Ohaiyo… Shindou… I'm fine, it-it's nothing." Shindou was still looking at Kirino worriedly. He knew what Kirino said wasn't true. Something was bothering him.
Ever since Kirino started hanging out with those two sisters, he's been acting strange… and he's been busier…
They walked in silence…
Why has he been avoiding me?
Shindou looked at Kirino. Kirino was staring at the ground. It almost hurt him to think about Kirino's actions…
What is this feeling?
… I don't need to worry about this… If Kirino doesn't want to tell me-
Pain shot through him.
Kirino… Why don't you want to tell me? You tell me everything, EVERYTHING, but why this time…
So that's it... or part of it... I have no idea how to submit another chapter... SOMEONE PLEASE HELP XD XD
