I woke up to the sun hitting me in the eye. My head was pounding and I felt someone arms wrapped around my waist. I turned slowly and realize it was just Maya. I smiled looking at her sleeping. I guess she felt me staring at her because she started to stir.

"hey" Maya said with sleep in her voice. "Hey" I replied back. "Ugh why is it so bright in here?" maya said burying her face into my neck. I laughed and got up and shut the curtains. "Why do I feel like I have a really bad hang over I don't remember drinking anything last night" I looked at maya and she was laughing. "What's so funny?" "see I um kind of put some well a lot of vocka in your drink last night." maya said looking at me hoping I wasn't too mad. "y-you didn't what?" "look I can explain"

"well please do were you trying to take advantage of me?" I said with a stern face but flirting at the same time. "you were being to up tight and nerves because I was spending the night so when your mom left for work I kind of just poured it in your drink in hopes you would loosen up which you did." "MAYA!" "I know im sorry em I am but I really needed you to loosen up and u kept asking for more."

I shook my head and walked out the room I went downstairs to find some asprin to cure the hangover maya decided to give me.

Yesterday afternoon

Emily was sitting in her window seat when I rock hit the window. she looked up from the book she was reading and seen maya leaning out of her window seat waving for Emily's attention. maya moved in next door to Emily about a year ago. right off the start they became really close. They started hanging out everyday more because they lived next door. But it was something about maya that attracted her to Emily and the same for maya. Emily introduce maya to her friends and they really liked maya too. But out of all the girls they were they closest and hung out together mostly. they were always together and they both liked it that way.

"hey" maya said with flirty eyes. "hey back to ya" "what do you say to us having a sleep over?" " I said sure I would love too" "are you sure you just don't want my body laying next to yours?" I laughed "oh I think it's the other way around" " maybe so but when should I come over?" "whenever you feel like it" " great be there in ten" "okay maya" I said with a laugh. once maya was there we went into the kitchen to ask my mom can she spend the night so I wouldn't be home alone. of course she said yes she hated having to leave me alone overnight. we ran upstairs to my room. "lets listen to some music" maya said going through my CD's. "oh my god I love her!" "who" I asked and turned around seeing maya basically jumping up and down with my Amy Winehouse CD in her hand. "me too put it in"

maya turned it to one of my favorite songs Valerie. when the beat first came on maya grabbed my hands and started to dance. when the song finally came on she pushed me and a chair and started singing to me.

soon as she said my name a deep blush rushed to my face and maya started to laugh at that. she grabbed my hands as we finishing dancing. when the song was starting to go off we locked eyes. it was a lustful stare and we both slowly started to lean in to each other then….. "Emily and Maya dinner ready come on girls lets got" my mom yelled up the stairs. I chocked out a "Yeah we.. um coming"

Present

I sat at the kitchen island thinking of what happen last night. Boy I still have butterflies just thinking about it. no wonder maya needed me to get drunk. I see how I must have been once we were left alone because I feel like I need a drink now. Oh my God….. I have feelings for maya! "Em do you have anymore asprin?" maya said standing behind me. I swallow a lump, "yeah right here." I handed her the asprin and moved away. "Em there something I should tell you because I can tell that you are acting weird which means that you remember last night." "Wait what happen last night?" I asked seriously confused did we do more than almost kissing. " us almost kissing" maya said cocking her head to the side. "ummm I want to t-tell you well more like confirm that im gay and im just saying it so you well know for sure and want be weird around me. I really like you Emily and its more than a friend." I looked up at maya and mumbled more like whispered "I feel the same way about you" my head shot up. 'oh crap she heard me!'
