A/N: So I've taken on a random writing challenge I made up because I'm bored and in a pretty spastic writing short things mood. People on Bebo and LiveJournal are giving me prompts for Sirius/Remus fics, and I'll write one (or just biff the lot and write whatever I want) per day, posting them there, and here. This'll go on for the whole of May, so feel free to pop over to my LJ (link in my profile) and drop me a prompt!
Disclaimer: I don't own these characters.
Warning: Slash
Prompt: None, I just wrote this for the hell of it XD
Hair
Sirius Black loved Remus Lupin's hair.
He loved the way the light danced on it when Remus was in the sun, looking like a golden halo.
He loved the way it bounced when Remus moved, so full of life and energy, especially on the rare occasion when Remus let go and just enjoyed himself.
He loved the way it felt when he ran his hands through it, kissing Remus gently or hard, when they were pressed together so tightly it felt like the edges had blurred and they were becoming the same person. It was silky and light, and oh so beautiful.
He loved it even when Remus was twenty one, and clutched him in horror, having discovered a small colony of silver hairs hiding on the back of his head. To be honest, Sirius had already noticed, and found them endearing... just something else about Remus to love.
And he loved it even when it was mottled with Death Eater blood, Remus crying out to him in warning as Bellatrix Lestrange hit him in the chest with her spell, sending him stumbling beyond the veil. It was the last thing he thought of; how even now, with his hair dirty and greying, blood and sweat sticking it in clumps, the already thin hair disappearing altogether in places, it was still beautiful.
