"You are right I'm not your mother, but I am your friend. I do that not because I want you to live like me, it's because I care about you. But c'mon Ariel is it that hard to act a little more responsible?" Cinderella said fluffing her apron. "Well no, I mean I guess so. I guess I've been acting kind of bratty lately…." Ariel said flopping down on the couch. "No you haven't." "What?" Ariel said with a slightly confused look on her face. "You haven't been acting bratty." Said Cinderella taking a seat beside her. "Well, thanks. I appreciate that Cindy." She said as her blue eyes were filled with happiness. "Ariel, are you okay?" Cinderella said looking up with concerned blue eyes.

"Yeah. I just don't see things the way you do. I just don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad…" "Ariel what are you saying…?" "I'm saying that I wanna be where the people are I wanna see- wanna see them dancing!" Ariel said getting off the couch and grabbing Cinderella by her hands. "Whoa what are you doing?" "Oh, just shut up and dance! Sing with me Cindy!" Cinderella nodded, "Okay." Ariel giggled playfully. "Legs are required for jumping, dancing! Strolling along down the… what's that word again?" "Street…" Cinderella added. "Up where they walk, up where they run, up where they stay all day in the sun wandering free wish I could be…. PART OF YOUR WOOOOORRRRRLLLLLD!" sand both in a happy, excited voice. They both fell on the couch laughing uncontrollably, Cinderella turns to Ariel and says, "That was so much fun! Ha! What's this fuzzy feeling in my stomach?" "That's the feeling of fun! Isn't great?" Ariel says with wide, excited blue eyes.

"Yeah it does…. Hey about earlier I'm sorry. I don't want you to live a sheltered life like me." Cinderella said tucking a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear. "It's okay. Hey how about I start working at the restaurant with you? Maybe I could get a job washing the spoons, knives, plates, and *GASP* the dinglehoppers! Do they have dinglehoppers there Cindy?! Oh, you know how much I love dinglehoppers!" Ariel said with sparkles in her eyes. Jumping on the couch placing her purple high-tops on the tan leather surface. "Yes I'm pretty sure they have forks—err, dinglehoppers there Ariel…." She said giggling. "Well I guess I should go to bed I don't want to be late for my first job interview tomorrow! Good night Cindy!' She said hugging her roommate getting up from the couch. "Night, Ariel. See you in the morning." "'Kay, I'll be up bright and early." Ariel said closing the door to her bedroom.

Cinderella sits there on the couch thinking to herself, "Wow she has really changed. Now that's the Ariel I remember, I'm so proud of her…" She gets up, turns off the lights in the living room/kitchen and walks into her bedroom. Thinking to herself, "Tomorrow's gonna be great, I can feel it." With that she closes the door.
