Prolouge
(Anceint Rome 500 B.C.)
A hunter walked through the forest he was tracking a some sort of beast that appeared to have the forelegs of a bear and the hind legs of a donkey. The hunter deduced that is was most likely some sort of monster, this was the reason why he was alone. He had left the group of mortals that he was hunting with, so if his suspicions where true and the beast was a monster he would not have to worry about his mortal company's safety. But night was coming and he didn't have all of the equipment needed to set up a camp for himself. He walked for what seemed to be about a mile then he heard faint voices, he was on a burm, so he looked down at the expanse below. What he saw terrified him. It was about 150 tents by his estimate, they were all silver. The Hunt, if he was quick he could escape and...
"You there, boy! What are you doing at our camp!" A huntress said.
Upon hearing this he knew he was dead. The hunter accepted his fate and proceeded down the berm and walked to her. When he got there he bowed his head and said nothing.
She cuffed his hands and holding him at knife point she nudged him for wards. While walking he looked over and saw another huntress outside her tent sharpening and arrow.
At this the huntress escorting him slapped him hard across the face. It and it made him want to retaliate but he held it in knowing it would only get him a more painful death. He stayed silent.
"That was for looking at a member of the hunt in a lustful manner." The huntress that bound him said,
The hunter wondered if his captor knew it was possible to merely observe a woman outside of a lustful manner. But in the end he knew that pondering the fact made no difference.
The huntress produced a cloth strip and used it to cover his eyes, tying it much tighter around the back of his head than necessary.
Even through the blindfold the hunter could definitely tell that the other huntresses were glaring at him as if his very existence disgusted them, which it probably did. The huntress took great effort in attempting to make him trip but failed nonetheless. His captor stopped and removed the blindfold. In front of the hunter was a tent that was larger that the others he had previously seen and bore a crescent moon on its flap. The huntress clapped outside the flap.
"Come in!" A powerful voice from inside the tent ordered
The hunter and huntress entered. In the center of the space of the tent there was a woman sitting criss-cross. The huntress in the middle opened her eyes. They were sliver. He was going to suffer a most painful death. He had long accepted his death the moment he stumbled upon the Hunter's camp, but he hoped that he would be spared a death that didn't come after torture. Unfortunately, he knew who he was standing in front of the moment she opened her eyes. He was standing for the goddess Diana and she would kill him... slowly and wait for him to beg for death, then she would watch joyfully as the light left his eyes.
He knelt at her feet and bowed his head. Not even looking at her for he knew what awaited him.
"Why have you brought a man in my presence Phoebe." Diana said.
Something in him almost smirked upon hearing this the irony of the situation, but he quickly suppressed the alien feeling, it would only get him killed.
"He was caught trespassing upon the camp. He has not spoken a single." Said Phoebe.
"Has he done anything incriminating as far as his intentions go?" Diana asked.
"Yes Milady, he looked lustfully upon one of the huntresses, Jennifer." Phoebe replied.
"He dared to look upon one of my huntresses in a lustful manner! The shall pay for that atrocity!" Diana said furiously, her eyes literally glowing in anger.
The hunter closed his eyes and was swallowed in an intense heat, then was no more.
