Who Knew?
Summary: Characters from IIDBIW. Not canon with JK Rowling or my series. Updates on those sometime soon though. Random plot bunny in my head.
'Who knew it would turn out this way,' Ally Lupin said softly to herself, once she had gotten away from all the fluff in the common room.
Tears started to flow down her cheeks as she knew what she had to do. Sirius, dear sweet Sirius, her loving, wonderful boyfriend of the last four years, would be distraught if he knew their future.
'I can't believe we were so stupid,' she rounds the corner to escape to the grounds, which is as far as she can get from anybody she's ever trusted.

"I love you, Ally. So much. I'm glad we waited until you were on those pills," Sirius says, nibbling her ear, before kissing her exposed stomach.
Ally sighed in contentment.
"Quit teasing me, and let's do this," she whispers huskily back.
He quickly obliges her, and they share their first intimate moment of passion together.
Sirius kisses her after it was all over. The end of her life as they know it.
"I didn't hurt you, did I?" he fumbles over his words, looking at his best friend's sister, as she lies breathlessly next to him.
"No," she kisses him back. "Not one bit. It was amazing, Padfoot, really. Let's hope they work."

How was she supposed to know? The Healer said they would be fine. Now, they, those awful pills, were on recall by the Ministry of Magic.
"I have ten days before I know for sure, but I've just been so tired lately," she says to no one in particular.
"But whatever happens, I cannot ruin his future. Even if I have to drop out of Hogwarts, finish school some place far away from here and let him go," she whispers. "I will not ruin everyone's lives because of my stupidity. Mum and Dad will be the most disappointed."
The tears start to flow again, and she begins to shiver in the cool, autumn air.
"Please, Merlin, let this all be a mistake and not be true. Remus won't be able to live. James, Lily, Satine, Sirius and the rest of the gang won't be able to either. What have I done," she wails.
Off in the distance, she hears hooting from a familiar owl. As she gets up from her safe haven, the last golden leaf falls from a nearby tree, perhaps signifying the end of her innocence.
